Völkl Mantra 84 W Skis

The renewed Völkl Mantra 84 W is designed for sporty women who favor groomed runs but want the freedom to explore beyond them. Its narrow 84 mm waist delivers quick, playful turning, while 3D Radius Sidecut geometry combines compact underfoot arcs with stable high-speed turns. Tailored Carbon Tips use precisely aligned fibers to provide low-weight stability and responsive handling, making the ski easy to push hard without requiring excessive force.

Agile Piste Performance
84 mm waist supports quick edge-to-edge transitions and precise carving · 129 / 84 / 110 mm sidecut provides a sporty platform for groomed slopes · Retains enough versatility for mixed snow and off-piste detours
3D Radius Sidecut
Short center radius makes compact turns easy and playful · Longer tip and tail radii improve maneuverability in wide turns and at higher speeds · Three-radius geometry adapts to varied turn shapes
Tailored Carbon Tips
Individual carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier and positioned along stress lines · Millimeter-precise alignment and fiber thickness tune stability and response · Delivers strong performance with low weight and accessible effort
Balanced All-Mountain Ride
Tip-and-tail rocker smooths turn initiation and adds mixed-snow maneuverability · Camber underfoot supports edge hold and rebound · Tailored Titanal Frame provides length-specific damping and torsional control
Construction and Setup
Multilayer wood core · Full-length sidewalls · P-Tex 2100 base · Bindings are not included and must be mounted, adjusted, and tested by an authorized retailer before use

Drying and Daily Care
Wipe snow and moisture from the skis after each day on the mountain. Dry the topsheets, sidewalls, edges, and binding interfaces thoroughly with a soft cloth. Avoid prolonged storage on wet vehicle racks or in a sealed ski bag.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the bases and edges regularly for scratches, core shots, burrs, rust, and edge separation. Have base damage repaired promptly and keep the edges properly tuned for current snow conditions. Wax the P-Tex 2100 bases regularly to maintain glide and help protect them from dryness.
Construction Inspection
Inspect the topsheet, sidewalls, core, and structural components for cracks, delamination, or impact damage. Pay particular attention to the 3D Radius Sidecut · Tailored Titanal Frame · Tailored Carbon Tips. Do not ski on structural damage; have it assessed by a qualified ski technician before further use.
Bindings
Have bindings mounted, adjusted, and release-tested by an authorized retailer for your boots, weight, ability, and skiing style. Do not ski with an unverified binding setup. Recheck the system after any binding, boot, or mounting change.
Off-Season Storage
Clean and dry the skis, tune away edge burrs, and apply a protective storage wax to the bases. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy loads. Avoid leaving the skis tightly strapped or compressed for extended periods.
