Völkl Revolt 86 Skis

The Revolt 86 combines quick edge-to-edge handling with the press-friendly feel wanted for modern park skiing. A bamboo wood core delivers energetic response, while dedicated butter zones and tip-and-tail rocker make nose and tail presses easier to access. Center sidewalls reinforce the binding and edge area, and Tough Box construction adds durability for repeated impacts without making the ski feel overly demanding.

Energetic Bamboo Core
The bamboo wood core creates a lively, responsive feel for quick takeoffs and playful transitions.
Dedicated Butter Zones
Purpose-shaped flex areas make presses and butters more accessible while retaining support through the center of the ski.
Tough Box Durability
A multi-layer wood and fiberglass build surrounds the core to improve strength and resilience for park use.
Quick, Catch-Free Handling
The narrow waist, rocker at both ends, and center-sidewall layout support fast edge changes and smooth releases.

Drying and Daily Care
Wipe snow and moisture from the skis after each day on the mountain. Dry the topsheets, sidewalls, edges, and binding interfaces thoroughly with a soft cloth. Avoid prolonged storage on wet vehicle racks or in a sealed ski bag.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the bases and edges regularly for scratches, core shots, burrs, rust, and edge separation. Have base damage repaired promptly and keep the edges properly tuned for current snow conditions. Wax the bases regularly with a wax suited to current snow conditions to maintain glide and help protect them from dryness.
Construction Inspection
Inspect the topsheet, sidewalls, core, and structural components for cracks, delamination, or impact damage. Pay particular attention to the Tough Box construction; butter zones; low swing weight. Do not ski on structural damage; have it assessed by a qualified ski technician before further use.
Bindings
Have bindings mounted, adjusted, and release-tested by an authorized retailer for your boots, weight, ability, and skiing style. Do not ski with an unverified binding setup. Recheck the system after any binding, boot, or mounting change.
Off-Season Storage
Clean and dry the skis, tune away edge burrs, and apply a protective storage wax to the bases. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy loads. Avoid leaving the skis tightly strapped or compressed for extended periods.
