Peregrine 72 Master WC-Plate Ski

With the new Peregrine 72 Master an unbeatable combination of World Cup and All Mountain technologies is added to its segment-leading lineup. From instructors to former racers, this model is the choice for experienced skiers who are looking for a thoroughbred designed to handle and perform on icy and hard race-like conditions. The Peregrine 72 Master offers the precision, dynamics and reliability of a racing ski combined with an extraordinarily versatile turn radius. For the first time Volkl is using its 3D Radius Sidecut Technology in a ski under 80 mm underfoot. The result is a ski that provides a wide range of turn shapes that skiers can effortlessly transition in and out of depending on terrain and conditions. Like at the WC models, the Peregrine 72 Master integrates real World Cup technology with World Cup-Base and Phenol Sidewalls, which together ensure smoothness and precision. Completing the package is a Tailored Torsion Woodcore. The ash wood core, the same used in Volkl's World Cup skis, combines the different characteristics of rod and laminated wood in an innovative design that provides dynamic stability and reliability, which results in additional grip and feel, especially on hard surfaces. For additional precision, direct tip response and improved overall experience, the ski is supported by Tailored Carbon Tips. The skis come with a pre-mounted 10 mm Marker World Cup plate. Ski bindings are not included and must be mounted, adjusted and tested by an authorized retailer before use.

3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning and speed. Long radii at the tip and tail deliver big turns and high speed with easy steering, maneuverability and no radius limitation at turn exit, while a tight center radius makes short turns and lower speeds extremely easy to initiate, strikingly agile and effortless.
First 3D Radius Ski Under 80 mm
The Peregrine 72 Master is the first Volkl ski under 80 mm underfoot to use 3D Radius Sidecut Technology. It gives skiers a wide range of turn shapes they can effortlessly transition in and out of depending on terrain and conditions.
World Cup Base & Phenol Sidewalls
Like the World Cup models, the Peregrine 72 Master integrates real World Cup technology with World Cup-Base and Phenol Sidewalls, which together ensure smoothness and precision on icy and hard race-like conditions.
Tailored Torsion Woodcore
The ash wood core, the same used in Volkl's World Cup skis, combines the different characteristics of rod and laminated wood in an innovative design. Increased torsional stiffness in the shovel and tail ensures direct turn initiation, high-speed stability and powerful energy release, while a smoother center section delivers effortless transitions from carving to drift.
Tailored Carbon Tips
Individual carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material and positioned exactly along the stress lines, so stiffness and torsion can be tuned to the millimeter. The result is an extremely direct and reliable tip response and an improved overall experience.
Full Titanal
The titanal setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Skiers who ride hard, fast and aggressively benefit from the quick response of this construction.
3D Glass
Three-dimensional, multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and tail increase edge grip and deliver more vivid rebound through turns.
Zebra Structure Base
A deep, high-definition base pattern tailored to narrower, system-mounted skis. This aggressive structure delivers lightning-fast, reliable turn initiation and smooth, controlled drifting for maximum carving performance.
Serial Finish
Straight from the factory to the mountain, the precision-crafted surface treatment maximizes glide, sharpens turn initiation and eliminates the need for additional prep work.
Marker World Cup Plate
A 10 mm Marker World Cup plate comes pre-mounted on the ski. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston converts even the smallest amount of energy into speed. The interface is compatible with the Marker Comp bindings.
