Ride Zero Snowboard

The Ride Zero Snowboard is designed for park riding with a medium response. The Zero is a unisex snowboard that knows no boundaries. It can be ridden by anyone, anywhere, at any time, thanks to the Standard Camber profile and Asymmetrical Quadratic Sidecut. The timeless graphic is a throwback to snowboarding’s days of classic, simple and unique look but it’s packed with technology to mirror today’s landscape of innovation, with features like Flat Kick Tips on the nose and tail and a Performance™ Core to give you extra stability in the park and the streets. A favorite of team riders Jill Perkins and Reid Smith, the Zero is the next big thing in the RIDE line.

Profile, Shape & Sidecut
Standard Camber Profile: Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering. Asymmetrical: Asymmetric sidecut shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control. Offering perfect balance while turning through different radii for the heel and toe side edges, the board just feels right! Twin: Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice. Also includes Quadratic.
Sidewall & Core
Slim Walls: RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weig… Performance™: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Laminates & Fiberglass
Double Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double. Carbon Array™ 3: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Also includes Biaxial.
Base & Edge Construction
Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. Stone Ground: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. Also includes Cleave Edge.
Materials & Sustainability
Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable. 30% Recycled Steel Edges: Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. Also includes FSC® Certified Paper Packaging · 44% Solar Production Energy.

After Riding
Wipe snow and moisture from the Zero after each session, including the topsheet, edges, insert area, and base. Let the board dry completely before placing it in a bag or storing it.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the base for scratches, core shots, and dryness, and check the edges for burrs, rust, cracks, or impact damage. Wax the base regularly and have significant base or edge damage repaired by a qualified snowboard technician.
Binding and Insert Checks
Check mounting screws and discs before riding and retighten them with the correct tool if needed. Do not overtighten the screws, and keep snow and grit out of the insert threads. Confirm that straps, highbacks, and stance settings remain secure.
Impact Inspection
After a hard impact, examine the topsheet, sidewalls, tip, tail, and edge bond for cracks, delamination, or deformation. Stop using the board until structural damage has been assessed.
Storage
Clean and dry the board, then store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy stacked loads. Loosen binding straps for long-term storage and apply a protective storage wax during the off-season.
