Ride Vantum Snowboard

The Ride Vantum Snowboard is designed for all mountain, powder riding with a medium response. Vantum, sounds pretty futuristic right? Well guess what? We’re living in the future, get on a board that’s built for these futuristic times. The Vantum is engineered to be at home on groomers, side hits, in the pow, hell even in the park if you’re feeling sporty. Vantum is meant to be ridden in a traditional length and features RIDE’s directional standard camber, keeping the board stable and ready for takeoff, landing, and everything in between. The new Urethane Channel (technology from the future) uses milled out sections of the core that are then filled with RIDE’s urethane material. Similar to the urethane used in the Slimewalls. Taking tech from the past and pushing it into the future. This Urethane Channels is focused on the nose of the board, keeping the board more stable in the choppiest conditions. No more nose flapping around when you’re charging through the chop. The Vantum uses a tapered quadratic sidecut with the Roll-In Construction to be quick edge to edge, float better in deep snow, and nimble enough to evade the yellow jackets looking to take your pass for launching off that side hit that’s finally shaped just right. Get away from the past and into the future with the all-new Vantum.

Profile, Shape & Sidecut
Standard Camber Profile: Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering. Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not. Quadratic: Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
Sidewall & Core
Slimewalls®: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls™ are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls™ smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight. Also includes Performance™.
Laminates & Fiberglass
Urethane Channel: Located in the nose of the board, these milled out sections of the core are filled with RIDE’s urethane material (similar to the Slimewall material). Keeping the nose of the board more stable and chatter resistant in the choppiest conditions. Zonal Carbon Rails: Carbon fiber strips are placed along the edge of the snowboard from the contact points to the inserts. This allows for a more direct power transfer to the contact points. Also includes Single Impact Plates · Hybrid Glass.
Base & Edge Construction
Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. Stone Ground: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. Also includes Standard Topsheet.
Materials & Sustainability
Biobased Resin: Our plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, we’re able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable. Also includes 30% Recycled Steel Edges · FSC® Certified Paper Packaging · 44% Solar Production Energy.

After Riding
Wipe snow and moisture from the Vantum after each session, including the topsheet, edges, insert area, and base. Let the board dry completely before placing it in a bag or storing it.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the base for scratches, core shots, and dryness, and check the edges for burrs, rust, cracks, or impact damage. Wax the base regularly and have significant base or edge damage repaired by a qualified snowboard technician.
Binding and Insert Checks
Check mounting screws and discs before riding and retighten them with the correct tool if needed. Do not overtighten the screws, and keep snow and grit out of the insert threads. Confirm that straps, highbacks, and stance settings remain secure.
Impact Inspection
After a hard impact, examine the topsheet, sidewalls, tip, tail, and edge bond for cracks, delamination, or deformation. Stop using the board until structural damage has been assessed.
Storage
Clean and dry the board, then store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy stacked loads. Loosen binding straps for long-term storage and apply a protective storage wax during the off-season.
