Ride Moderator Snowboard

The Ride Moderator Snowboard is designed for all mountain, powder riding with a medium response. The unisex Moderator is your new quiver killer. Truly one board for everything. A medium (some might even say moderate) flex with a Tapered Directional Extra Camber profile, this board is built for smooth turns and pop while having just enough rise in the nose to float on those deeper days. No need to swap out decks or change your stance depending on conditions. The Moderator should be ridden in a standard length, no downsize needed. The Tapered Linear Quadratic Sidecut is designed for smooth turn initiation and powerful grip without washing out. The Moderator features our Slim Wall construction, where a urethane layer runs along the edge of the board to increase flex and damping to create a board that is at home anywhere on the mountain. This is a premium all-mountain board and features RIDE's Performance™ Light Core, Carbon Array™ 3, Sintered Stone Ground Base, and bio-resin. The Moderator will take you anywhere you want to go.

Profile, Shape & Sidecut
Extra Camber: More camber! A higher rise camber that gives the board a snappy, lively, and responsive feel. Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not. Linear Quadratic: A directional sidecut utilizing Quadratic curvature from the tip to the rear insert pack, then progressing into a linear section into the tail.
Sidewall & Core
Slim Walls: RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weig… Performance™ Light: Specially formulated for light weight performance, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.
Laminates & Fiberglass
Single Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double. Carbon Array™ 3: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Also includes Hybrid Glass · Pre-Cured Glass.
Base & Edge Construction
Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. Stone Ground: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. Also includes Standard Topsheet.
Materials & Sustainability
Biobased Resin: Our plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, we’re able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable. Also includes 30% Recycled Steel Edges · FSC® Certified Paper Packaging · 44% Solar Production Energy.

After Riding
Wipe snow and moisture from the Moderator after each session, including the topsheet, edges, insert area, and base. Let the board dry completely before placing it in a bag or storing it.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the base for scratches, core shots, and dryness, and check the edges for burrs, rust, cracks, or impact damage. Wax the base regularly and have significant base or edge damage repaired by a qualified snowboard technician.
Binding and Insert Checks
Check mounting screws and discs before riding and retighten them with the correct tool if needed. Do not overtighten the screws, and keep snow and grit out of the insert threads. Confirm that straps, highbacks, and stance settings remain secure.
Impact Inspection
After a hard impact, examine the topsheet, sidewalls, tip, tail, and edge bond for cracks, delamination, or deformation. Stop using the board until structural damage has been assessed.
Storage
Clean and dry the board, then store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy stacked loads. Loosen binding straps for long-term storage and apply a protective storage wax during the off-season.
