Ride Current Snowboard

The Ride Current Snowboard is designed for all mountain, powder riding with a aggressive response. The Current is Blake Paul’s pro model, through and through. Built hand in hand with Blake this is a true all mountain machine. Wanting to get this board right, RIDE worked directly with Blake building over 40 prototypes and testing over 15 different camber profiles until Blake fine-tuned what is the all-new Current. The camber profile features RIDE’s new Multi-Cam shape blending maneuverability, ease of use, pop, and stability into one board. RIDE didn’t stop at camber profile though, the core of this is fully engineered to support the camber profile. With a medium amount of tortional flex between the feet the Current is easy to control while providing the stability you need on hill. The tip and tail are stiffer to pair with the camber sections, so you don’t tomahawk over the nose in pow or loop out off the tail on landings. The sidecut is a radial cut that’s set back on the board so the center of the sidecut matches the setback of the board. RIDE’s Slimewalls and linear carbon finish the Current off to be an all-mountain board that’s stable on the hardpack, floats in pow, and keeps you upright when the conditions try to buck you around.

Profile, Shape & Sidecut
Multi Camber: A mix of traditional and reverse camber. Multi Camber blends maneuverability, ease of use, pop, and stability into one board. Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not. Radial Sidecut: A sidecut featuring a single, continuous arc from tip to tail—delivering smooth, consistent turns and effortless edge control.
Sidewall & Core
Slimewalls®: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls™ are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls™ smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight. Also includes Carbon Slimewalls® · Performance™ Light.
Laminates & Fiberglass
Linear Carbon 10: 10 Strips of carbon running tip to tail, added below the core provide more snap for ollie power. Single Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double. Also includes Carbon Array™ 5 · Hybrid Glass.
Base & Edge Construction
Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. Stone Ground: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. Also includes Standard Topsheet.
Materials & Sustainability
Biobased Resin: Our plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, we’re able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable. Also includes 30% Recycled Steel Edges · FSC® Certified Paper Packaging · 44% Solar Production Energy.

After Riding
Wipe snow and moisture from the Current after each session, including the topsheet, edges, insert area, and base. Let the board dry completely before placing it in a bag or storing it.
Base and Edge Maintenance
Inspect the base for scratches, core shots, and dryness, and check the edges for burrs, rust, cracks, or impact damage. Wax the base regularly and have significant base or edge damage repaired by a qualified snowboard technician.
Binding and Insert Checks
Check mounting screws and discs before riding and retighten them with the correct tool if needed. Do not overtighten the screws, and keep snow and grit out of the insert threads. Confirm that straps, highbacks, and stance settings remain secure.
Impact Inspection
After a hard impact, examine the topsheet, sidewalls, tip, tail, and edge bond for cracks, delamination, or deformation. Stop using the board until structural damage has been assessed.
Storage
Clean and dry the board, then store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters, and heavy stacked loads. Loosen binding straps for long-term storage and apply a protective storage wax during the off-season.
