True Twin Shape
Symmetrical outline and flex — the Lil Mini feels precisely the same whether riding left or right foot forward. Perfect for groms learning switch riding or figuring out whether they're goofy or regular-footed.
Extruded 2000 Base
K2's affordable extruded base formula — fast, tough, low maintenance, and easily repairable. Gives parents and groms confidence and peace of mind to send it on any terrain, with simple P-Tex repairs for routine dings.
Tip-and-Tail Grommets (≤100cm sizes)
All sizes 100 cm and smaller come with tip-and-tail grommets accommodating leash connections — perfect for the youngest riders still being pulled along by parents, instructors, or magic carpets. Lets the earliest shredders get on snow safely.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Extruded 2000 base absorbs wax well — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. For kids' boards, more frequent waxing is a good idea since young riders tend to put boards through more diverse conditions.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Catch-Free Tune already softens the contact points for catch-free turns — only sharpen when truly needed, and detune the contact points more than an adult board to prevent edge catches during the learning phase.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport. For kids' boards, the bag also makes it easier for parents to manage gear.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. For young riders who are still learning edge control, expect more frequent base repairs — the Extruded 2000 base makes P-Tex repairs quick and easy.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern with centered stance geometry supports a true symmetrical mount for switch-friendly learning. Center the bindings around the mid-body for the classic true-twin feel that lets groms ride regular or switch without thinking about stance adjustments. Pairs best with the K2 Mini or Lil Kat boot and binding system for proper kids' setup.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
