Gateway Pop Men's Snowboard

The Gateway combines a classic directional twin shape with a progressive Combination Camber Profile — the perfect ally for ripping down open powder fields, perfectly spaced tree runs, or your favorite line in the park. An Aspen core delivers a snappy, playful mid-flex for quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and pressing on boxes and butters. ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers adds edge hold through choppy terrain and at high speeds, while the Extruded 2000 base provides a smooth and durable feel that holds up to the secret-stash life. The all-mountain Gateway packs premium tech into an affordable package for leveling up your skillset on any terrain the resort has to offer.

Aspen Core
A single-species Aspen wood core — lightweight, renewable, and engineered for a snappy and playful feel. Mid-flex pattern provides quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and forgiving response on presses, butters, and boxes.
Combination Camber Profile
A progressive profile with camber zones for power and tracking, and rocker sections for a forgiving feel on presses and a carvable feel across varied terrain. The combo keeps the board versatile for all-mountain charging without locking in to one feel.
ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with Carbon
Biax fiberglass integrated with tip-to-tail carbon stringers. The carbon adds edge hold through choppy terrain and high-speed stability, while the biax base gives the relaxed, manipulation-friendly feel you need across varied terrain.
Directional Twin Shape
Classic directional twin — directional outline for forward charging but with twin flex pattern that keeps it playful and switch-friendly when you want to spin or press.
Hybritech™ Construction
K2's hybrid sidewall technology — lighter than traditional sidewall construction while retaining impact resistance and torsional stability. Removes excess sidewall material from the tip and tail where it isn't needed and adds a 3D capped edge at the bond points.
Extruded 2000 Base
K2's extruded base formula — tough, durable, and easier to repair than sintered bases. Slower than sintered but holds up to the abuse of freestyle and all-mountain riding while keeping the price accessible.
Affordable All-Mountain Package
Packs premium tech — Aspen core, ICG 10 Biax with carbon, Hybritech sidewall, Combination Camber — into an accessible price point for riders leveling up their skillset on any terrain the resort has to offer.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Extruded 2000 base absorbs wax well — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. The stone finish speeds absorption. Extruded bases are more wax-tolerant than sintered and forgiving of slightly irregular waxing schedules.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The directional twin flex pattern supports both forward charging and switch riding — detune the contact points moderately for a less catchy feel across conditions.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. Extruded bases are easier to repair than sintered — most base welds adhere well, and P-Tex candles work for routine base repairs.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern with 0.75" setback supports a slightly tail-set stance for the all-mountain directional feel. Center the bindings for a more pivoty stance, or shift forward toward the front inserts if you prefer a switch-friendlier ride.
