If you ride at the edge of two sizes, size down for a responsive, locked-in feel or up for a more relaxed fit. Boots should sit snug inside the binding with no heel lift.
Component Breakdown
S7 Duraflex CB Baseplate
The S7 Duraflex CB baseplate was engineered to be the strongest and most responsive baseplate Union has ever created. Ultra-responsive Duraflex CB (carbon-black) nylon is the key ingredient — carbon-injected for maximum strength and energy transfer at minimum weight.
S22 Duraflex CB Highback
The S22 Duraflex CB highback is slightly less aggressive than the previous generation of Atlas highbacks, giving riders response when they want it and forgiveness when they need it. Carbon-injected Duraflex Nylon for the perfect balance of power and play.
ExoFrame 5.0 Ankle Strap
The ExoFrame 5.0 ankle strap utilizes tri-axial progressive flex for the perfect boot-to-binding fit and provides instant power and response when you need it. Comfortable for all-day riding without sacrificing the precision edge-to-edge control the binding is built for.
TS 6.0 Dual-Layer UltraGrip Toe Strap
Separating the exterior toe strap frame and interior rubber grip allows the strap to form-fit seamlessly to any boot shape on the market for superior grip and response — the same premium toe strap as the Force Team and Falcor.
Magnesium S1 Ratchets
The all-new Magnesium S1 ratchets are Union's answer to the elements. A fully integrated spring protected from the harsh outside provides you with Union's best-in-class ladder action run after run.
Extruded 3D Aluminum Heelcup
Designed for optimum heel hold and minimization of drag. Backed by Union's lifetime warranty — the core of every Atlas is built to last.
Non-Stick HP EVA Footbed
Helps to prevent snow and ice build up under snowboard boots and adds an additional layer of dampening. The Non-Stick Hot Press EVA creates a closed cell finish that's 100% waterproof.
Vaporlite HD 2.0 Bushing
A responsive, waterproof, and vibration-canceling layer between the baseplate and your snowboard. Vaporlite HD bushings are 100% exclusive to Union — they're the premium bushing option for the Atlas and other top-tier bindings.
Grade 8.8 Steel Hardware
The strongest steel available on the market. Comes pre-installed so you can mount and ride without a hardware run to the shop.
