Active Fleece Glove

Need a hand during those cold weather adventures? Our Active Fleece Glove has you covered. The combination of polyester and soft-brushed Merino wool helps keep you warm and protected from the elements, and the silicone grip helps ensure you don’t drop your mug of hot cocoa. Plus, we made the thumb and index finger touchscreen-compatible, just in case you want to snap a mountaintop selfie or two.

Soft-Brushed Merino Wool Next To Skin
Soft-brushed Merino wool lines the interior next to skin, blending the moisture management, temperature regulation, and odor resistance of Merino with the structure and durability of recycled polyester on the outer face. The brushed inner face feels warm against the fingers from the moment you pull them on — the cold-morning fleece that doesn’t need a break-in period.
Four-Way Stretch Construction
Four-way stretch runs across the entire glove — both warp and weft of the knit move with the hand. The result: full finger articulation when gripping poles, adjusting zippers, or wrapping the wrist strap of a watch. No bag-out across the palm after a season of use, no restriction on the trigger-finger pull of a camera or trekking-pole strap.
Silicone Grippers On Palm & Fingers
Silicone grippers run across the palm and fingers, printed into the knit in patterns that match where the hand actually grips. The grip holds poles, water bottles, zippers, coffee mugs, and tow ropes without the bulk of a leather palm — the kind of grip you stop noticing after a few minutes because it just works.
Touchscreen Capabilities At Thumb & Fingertips
The thumb and fingertips are knit with a conductive yarn that registers on a touchscreen without exposing the hand to the cold. Pull the phone out for a summit photo or a trail map check without removing the glove; the conductive yarn stays functional through wash cycles and doesn’t wear through the way thin patches on cheaper touchscreen gloves do.
Reflective Elements
Reflective elements are integrated into the cuff for low-light visibility — the morning run, the evening dog walk, the late commute home. The reflective hits don’t change the daytime look of the glove but catch headlights and streetlights when the light drops, adding passive safety without the bulk of a hi-vis glove.
Multi-Zone Fabric Construction
The main body blends 54% Recycled Polyester, 38% Merino Wool, and 8% Elastane for warmth, stretch, and shape retention; the fingertips are knit with 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane for the conductive touchscreen yarn and the high-wear durability the fingertips need. Each zone is knit to the function it serves.
Multi-Activity Versatility
Engineered for cold-weather running, hiking, Nordic skiing, and active winter wear. The fleece warmth handles the cold-morning start without the bulk of a shell glove; the four-way stretch keeps dexterity high enough to manage zippers and buckles without taking the glove off.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Cold water protects the brushed Merino lining, the recycled-polyester outer, and the silicone grip print; the gentle cycle keeps the four-way stretch from losing its recovery. Turn the glove inside out before washing to protect the silicone grippers and reflective elements from surface abrasion.
Drying
Tumble dry low. Low heat helps the brushed Merino interior re-loft and restores the fleece warmth that’s flattened from wear. High heat can damage the elastane stretch and the conductive yarn at the fingertips.
Bleach & Iron
Do not bleach. Do not iron decoration. Bleach breaks down Merino fibers, the recycled-polyester blend, and the elastane stretch; iron heat can scorch the knit and damage the conductive touchscreen yarn.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the recycled-polyester and elastane construction — both core to the glove’s warmth, stretch, and dexterity.
Storage
Store flat or paired in a dry space. Merino’s natural odor resistance means the glove can be worn multiple days between washes — ideal for travel, multi-day trips, and shoulder-season rotations where the same pair goes through the morning run, the dog walk, and the evening commute.

Merino Layer System — SW003265

Built For

Cold-Weather Running
20° – 45°F
Four-way stretch keeps the full finger articulation that running strides demand; the silicone grip holds the phone, the keys, and the dog leash without slipping. Conductive fingertips run a route check or take a turn-by-turn photo without exposing skin to the cold; reflective elements catch headlights on the dark-mile finish.
Trail & Day Hiking
25° – 50°F
Soft-brushed Merino lines the inside for next-to-skin warmth on the trail; the silicone palm holds trekking poles, water bottles, and the bear-spray holster without the grip slip that bare fleece develops after a few miles. Conductive fingertips handle the topo map check without taking the glove off in the cold.
Nordic & Skate Skiing
15° – 35°F
The four-way stretch and silicone grip are built for pole work — the high-output activity where bulky mittens overheat the hand and a thin glove can’t handle the wind. The brushed Merino interior manages sweat across thousands of pole plants; the conductive fingertips run a Strava split without breaking the rhythm.
Daily Cold Commute
20° – 45°F
The morning walk to the car, the dog loop, the coffee run — the fleece warmth handles the cold without the bulk of a winter glove. The silicone palm keeps the steering wheel, the phone, and the grocery bag from slipping; conductive fingertips handle the parking meter or the QR code at the door without bare-handed exposure.
Build The Stack

Pair It With A Shell

The Active Fleece Glove is the active mid-layer for the hand. When conditions turn bitter or wet, layer a waterproof shell mitten or a heavier gauntlet glove over the fleece for full weather protection without losing the dexterity and grip the fleece delivers on its own.

  • Waterproof shell mitten wet + cold weather
  • Insulated gauntlet glove deep-cold + wind
  • Wool liner glove extra warmth under shells
  • Hand warmer pack inside static cold-weather belay
Complete The Kit

Layer Up The Body

The Active Fleece Glove is the hand half of a head-to-toe Merino system. Pair it with a Classic Thermal or Intraknit base layer + Smartloft or hardshell for matched warmth from fingers to shoulders, finished with a Merino beanie or headband for ear coverage.

  • Merino base layer crew or 1/4 zip moisture management
  • Smartloft vest or insulated jacket core warmth
  • Hardshell jacket wet + windy conditions
  • Merino beanie or headband ear coverage top-off

Prepared with intention.

Every product is carefully inspected and handled by our team before it ships. From fit and function to final details, we make sure each piece is ready for the outdoors ahead—so you can focus on the experience, not the gear.
