The Vigor Grid Fleece Quarter Zip is made for technical performance, perfect for layering on cool and cold-weather activities on the trail and in the alpine. Crafted from a bluesign® approved polyester blend, the breathable and insulating Vigor Grid Fleece features thermoregulating ActiveTemp™, a technology that adjusts to body temperature to keep you comfortable during active start-stop activities. The material's movement-mirroring stretch and raglan sleeves allow for an unrestricted range of motion. The flat-seam construction and chafe-free design with dynamic reach provide all-day comfort. Ergonomic-fit thumb holes keep the sleeves pulled down where you like them, and a zip chest pocket keeps gels and phones close by. Featuring a standard fit and built for layering, the breathable, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying Vigor Grid Fleece Quarter Zip is a foundational piece to building the ultimate outdoor kit.

A thermo-regulating ActiveTemp™ treatment adjusts to body temperature, cooling you when you're working hard and warming you when you slow down—ideal for start-stop activities like skin tracks, scrambles, and belay transitions.

Grid Fleece Construction

A grid-channeled fleece interior traps warm air against the skin while creating channels that move moisture off the body and release it to the outside, keeping you warm without the clammy chill of solid fleece.

Movement-Mirroring Stretch

A 94% polyester / 6% spandex stretch knit moves with your body on every reach, scramble, and high-step, eliminating restriction during dynamic alpine movement.

Raglan Sleeves

Raglan sleeves eliminate the shoulder seam for full range of motion and zero chafing under pack straps, harnesses, and on long reaches with a trekking pole or ice axe.

Flat-Seam Construction

Flat-seam construction throughout eliminates bulk and reduces chafing during high-output activity, all-day wear, and long backcountry tours.

Chafe-Free Dynamic Reach

A chafe-free design with dynamic reach adds extra length to the sleeves and arm panels, so the cuffs stay at your wrists when you reach overhead and don't ride up under a pack or harness.

Ergonomic Thumb Holes

Ergonomic thumb holes at the cuffs keep the sleeves pulled down where you like them, layer cleanly under gloves, and prevent ride-up during high-reach moves on the rock or skin track.

9" Quarter-Zip & Chest Pocket

A 9" (23cm) center front zipper lets you dump heat fast on the approach, and a zip chest pocket secures a phone, gels, or a small map close at hand.

Cleaning

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical-gear or liquid detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the ActiveTemp™ treatment, the spandex stretch, and the grid fleece channels over time.

Drying

Tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage the spandex content, warp the flat seams, and reduce the elastic recovery of the grid fleece channels.

Storage

Allow the quarter-zip to dry fully before storing. Hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid compression under heavy gear, which can crush the grid fleece channels and reduce thermal performance.

Zipper Care

YKK zippers last longest with occasional cleaning. Brush out debris with a soft toothbrush, and rub a beeswax candle or graphite pencil along the teeth if a zipper starts to stick. Do not force a stuck zipper—work it back and forth gently to avoid breaking the slider.

Pilling Prevention

The grid fleece interior may pill slightly with heavy use, especially in high-friction zones like the lower back and under pack straps. A fabric shaver safely removes pilling and restores appearance. Washing inside-out and avoiding friction from backpack straps minimizes pilling over time.
