Women's Deviator Hoodie

The Deviator Hoodie is built for a wide range of high-tempo pursuits in cool weather, purpose-built to retain warmth when it's crucial yet breathe and shed heat when working hard. VerticalX™ Octa insulation is paired with hybrid-mapped ActiveTemp™ fabrics to deliver the perfect balance of protection and breathability for high-energy activities like trail running or backcountry touring. VerticalX™ Octa does not require an interior liner fabric and has an open structure, allowing it to breathe more effectively. It's 50% lighter than traditional polyester insulation, has an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio, is superb at wicking moisture, and is soft against the skin. A 20D stretch-woven soft shell fabric on the front, shoulders, sleeves, and hood provides weather resistance where it's needed the most, and an ultra-breathable polyester/spandex grid fleece on the back, side panels, and under the arms provides a full range of motion and helps dump body heat. Purpose-built for high-tempo, active outdoor pursuits, the Deviator Hoodie is a highly breathable and protective insulator for pushing the pace in cool weather.

Hybrid-Mapped Construction
VerticalX™ Octa insulation at the front body and hood provides low-bulk warmth where you need it most, while uninsulated stretch grid fleece panels at the back, sides, and under the arms dump excess heat and moisture for maximum breathability on high-output pursuits and stop-and-go alpine objectives.
VerticalX™ Octa Insulation
An innovative 100% polyester VerticalX™ Octa insulation with an open structure that breathes more effectively than traditional fills, delivers 50% less weight, and a superior warmth-to-weight ratio for high-output activity where static insulators would overheat.
ActiveTemp™ Grid Fleece Back & Sides
A bluesign® approved 95% polyester / 5% spandex stretch grid fleece with ActiveTemp™ finish actively adjusts to body temperature, cooling you when you're working hard and warming you when you slow down—ideal for start-stop activity in changing mountain weather.
Stretch-Woven Front & Hood
A bluesign® approved 90% nylon / 10% spandex 20D stretch-woven front body and hood with DWR treatment moves with your body on every reach, scramble, and high-step, while shedding light snow and rain.
Insulated Hood with Bonded Brim
A snug insulated hood with a bonded brim and stretch elastic opening seals in core warmth around the head and neck on cold belays, ridge scrambles, and frosty starts, and layers cleanly under a climbing or skiing helmet when needed.
Movement-Mirroring 4-Way Stretch
The stretch-woven front, grid fleece back, and spandex content in both fabrics deliver 4-way stretch that mirrors the body's natural movement, eliminating restriction during dynamic alpine activity, high-reach moves, and technical scrambles.
Zip Chest & Hand Pockets
A zip chest pocket secures a phone, wallet, ID, or small map, and zip hand pockets warm cold fingers between high-output bursts or stash gloves, a beanie, and other essentials for quick access on the trail.
Reflective Logos
Reflective logos on the chest and back add low-light visibility for early-morning trail runs, evening descents, and roadside sections on long training days.

Cleaning
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical-gear or liquid detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the VerticalX™ Octa insulation, the DWR finish, and the stretch panels over time.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes to reactivate the DWR finish on the front body and hood, or hang to air dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage the spandex content, warp the bonded hood brim, and reduce the elastic recovery of the stretch panels and cuffs.
Storage
Allow the hoodie to dry fully before storing. Hang on a wide hanger or fold loosely in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid compression under heavy gear, which can reduce the VerticalX™ Octa insulation loft and decrease thermal performance over time.
Zipper Care
YKK zippers last longest with occasional cleaning. Brush out debris with a soft toothbrush, and rub a beeswax candle or graphite pencil along the teeth if a zipper starts to stick. Do not force a stuck zipper—work it back and forth gently to avoid breaking the slider.
Waterproofing Refresh
When the front body and hood no longer shed light snow or rain, reproof with a spray-on DWR treatment compatible with stretch-woven nylon to restore water-shedding performance without compromising the breathability or the 4-way stretch.
