Hypnotist Men's Snowboard

An all-new premium freestyle snowboard built for advanced-to-expert riders who push transitions, hips, and medium-to-large terrain park features. The tri-blend BAP Core pairs with Carbon DarkWeb™ stringers for fast edge-to-edge response and a new tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone™ for added snap. SpaceGlass™ replaces the wood core in the tip and tail, cutting swing weight and chatter so you can spin that extra 180 with control. Finished with K2's hardest, fastest Crown 4001 sintered base.

BAP Core
K2's premium tri-blend wood core — three species of wood blended for the responsive feel and durability that freestyle riding demands. Tuned per size for matched flex and rider weight across the lineup.
Carbon Backbone™
A new tip-to-tail carbon stringer that runs the full length of the board to add snap, pop, and response where you load the board for presses, butters, and ollies — K2's answer to a more reactive freestyle ride.
Carbon DarkWeb™
Carbon stringers placed underfoot and extending edge-to-edge. Reduces the distance between edge transitions for faster, more precise turns — critical for hitting lines on hips, transitions, and park features.
SpaceGlass™ Tip & Tail
K2's patented fiberglass insert technology replaces the wood core at the tip and tail. Lighter and harder than wood, SpaceGlass™ reduces swing weight for easier rotations and damps chatter on hardpack landings.
Camber Profile
Full camber from contact point to contact point delivers maximum pop, locked-in presses, and the edge hold needed to ride out technical park features with confidence.
True Twin Shape
Symmetrical outline and flex — the board rides the same forward or switch, perfect for freestyle riders who spin, press, and hit features from either direction.
Crown Wax-Infused 4001 Sintered Base
K2's hardest, fastest base material, sourced from Crown. Wax-infused into the high-density sintered construction for fast, durable glide and reduced dry time between waxings.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Crown 4001 sintered base absorbs wax quickly — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The true twin shape supports switch riding, so detune the contact points symmetrically for a less catchy feel.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage — small dings can be filled with base repair candles, larger damage should go to a qualified tech. The Carbon Backbone runs the full length, so any binding-area core shot repairs should be done carefully to avoid the carbon stringer.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern lets you set stance width anywhere in the range. For the true twin flex, center the bindings symmetrically around the mid-body — most freestyle riders prefer this centered mounting for switch riding.
