Embassy Men's Snowboard

Engineered with versatility in mind for backcountry kickers, side hits, and fresh cord — the Embassy is K2's directional all-mountain snowboard that's become an instant classic among staff and team riders. The BAP Core (Bamboo, Aspen, Paulownia) provides a smooth, snappy flex built to last; the Combination Camber Profile adds a bit of rocker in the nose and tail to keep things predictable in deep snow and smooth through butters. ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers adds high-speed stability and edge hold through choppy terrain, while a touch of taper gives the classic directional feel that pulls you out of turns with silky precision.

BAP Core
A tri-blend wood core of Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia — all sustainably harvested. The bamboo delivers rebound and strength, the aspen adds reliable feel, and the paulownia keeps the overall weight low for a board that feels lively and snappy underfoot.
Combination Camber Profile
Camber zones underfoot for power, edge hold, and pop; a bit of rocker in the nose and tail adds a predictable feel in deep snow and smooth butters. The directional rocker zones give the board forgiveness without sacrificing response.
ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with Carbon
Biax fiberglass integrated with tip-to-tail carbon stringers. The carbon increases snap and edge response without adding unnecessary torsional rigidity — high-speed stability and edge hold through choppy terrain, with a forgiving flex character.
Tapered Directional Shape
Directional outline with a touch of taper for classic directional feel. The wider nose and slightly narrower tail deliver natural float in soft snow and the silky turn release that directional boards are known for.
Hybritech™ Construction
K2's hybrid sidewall technology — lighter than traditional sidewall construction while retaining the impact resistance and torsional stability needed for all-mountain charging and side hits.
Sintered 4000 Base
A durable sintered 4000 base that absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability. Stone finish for fast absorption and consistent speed across conditions.
All-Mountain Versatility
Built for wherever the rider takes it — backcountry kickers, side hits, groomers, powder. The directional shape with rocker in nose and tail handles varied terrain without locking the rider into one style.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deeply — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. The stone finish speeds absorption.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The directional shape favors forward charging — detune the rear contact point slightly for a less catchy tail release on hardpack.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. The Hybritech sidewall construction is durable but lighter than full sidewall — larger damage should go to a qualified tech to preserve the board's flex profile.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern with 0.5" setback supports a slightly tail-set stance for the directional surf feel. The standard setback position works well for most riders; shift forward toward the front inserts for a more centered, pivoty stance if you prefer switch or freestyle riding.
