Extremely lightweight and versatile core combined with high impact resistance and maximum pop. The same proven core as the D.O.A. and Birds of a Feather — tuned here for park/jib focus with the Ultrafear's softer flex pattern.
Hybrid Carbon HolySheet™ BI/BI — Tip-to-Tail Carbon Boosters
Carbon additives interwoven directly into the HolySheet™ fiberglass layup. Higher roving count for stronger and more responsive without extra weight. BI/BI layup (biaxial top + biaxial bottom) provides a softer, more forgiving flex pattern tuned for park/freestyle. Tip-to-tail Carbon Boosters add ollie power.
1.5mm Cork Edge Dampening System
Damp, durable, and lighter than rubber — the Ultrafear's cork edge dampening system is placed between the steel edge and ABS sidewall. Increases protection from blunt force impacts on rails, jibs, and park features. Cork's natural vibration dampening softens the ride on rough landings.
Resort V1 + Flat Kick Tech Profile
Traditional camber, zero camber, and reverse camber combined for pop and response of a cambered board with the predictability and easy turn initiation of rocker shapes. Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for faster, more aggressive transitions.

Waxing
Wax every 5-7 riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The SuperDrive ADV sintrured base absorbs wax moderately — hot wax preferred for full saturation. The sintrured construction is more durable and lower-maintenance than full sintered, so less frequent waxing is needed.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Ultrafear's True Twin shape means detune the contact points symmetrically for a less catchy feel — important for park laps, rails, and creative freestyle.
Cork Edge Dampening Inspection
Periodically check the cork edge dampening system for wear or separation from the steel edge / ABS sidewall. The 1.5mm cork strip absorbs impact on rails and jibs — if it shows significant compression or separation, replace at an authorized Capita service center.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or garage — heat can delaminate the topsheet and weaken the SuperDrive ADV base.
Binding Mounting
The 2×4 stainless steel insert pattern lets you set stance width and angles anywhere in the range. Mount bindings with the standard 4×4 pattern using 4× M6 screws per binding. The Ultrafear is True Twin — mount bindings perfectly centered around the mid-body for switch riding. Capita's reference stance for each size is listed in the size chart.
