Reckoner 102 Men's Skis 2027

Featuring the same tech as its bigger siblings, the Reckoner 102 is a playful tool built for whipping cork threes off cat tracks, hitting butters and exploring all over the hill. Strapped with patented Spectral Braid construction, full sidewall and Aspen Micro Block core, it delivers on versatility and playfulness. Its durability and pop come from its Carbon Boosted design where longitudinal carbon stringers laid on top of the core keep you hunting side hits all day long. Wherever you decide to take it, the Reckoner 102 has got your back.

Spectral Braid Construction
K2's patented Spectral Braid interlocks fiberglass around a milled wood core at variable angles for pronounced torsional strength and tunable longitudinal flex. Tuned to be softer in the tip and tail for buttery pressability while maintaining edge hold underfoot when the snow gets firm.
Aspen Micro Block Core
Lightweight aspen micro block core delivers the lively, poppy feel that makes the Reckoner 102 so fun on side hits. Aspen's tight grain structure gives consistent flex pattern after flex pattern, so the ski feels the same on run 1 and run 30 of a deep day.
Carbon Boosted Design
Longitudinal carbon stringers laid on top of the core deliver the pop and durability that keeps you hunting side hits all day. The carbon adds energy return without the weight of additional fiberglass layers — so the Reckoner 102 stays light enough to spin and press but has the snap to launch off every cat-track gap.
Full Sidewall Construction
Full sidewall construction from tip to tail — not just under the boot zone. ABS sidewalls deliver maximum edge hold, impact resistance, and torsional stiffness for hard-charging freestyle riding. Heavier than cap construction, but the trade-off is a ski that survives rail slides and serious abuse.
102mm Waist Width
The 102mm waist is the powder-focused alternative to the Reckoner 92's 92mm. Still quick enough to edge on hardpack, but noticeably more surface area for float in soft snow. A one-ski quiver for the rider who wants a playful freestyle ski that doesn't sink on deep days.

After Use
Wipe down the bases with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. Store skis in a cool, dry place — extreme heat (car trunks, garage storage) can damage the core, sidewalls, and topsheet. A ski bag or wall rack in a climate-controlled space is ideal.
Base & Edge Maintenance
Wax regularly — every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the bases look dry or white. Use a temperature-specific wax for the conditions (cold wax for winter, universal or warm wax for spring). Sharpen edges with a proper edge file or take to a ski shop at the first sign of dulling, especially after rail or rock contact.
Storage
Store skis base-to-base with a layer of wax on the bases to prevent rust and drying. Use ski straps or a ski bag to keep them together. Avoid leaning skis in corners where they can develop a permanent warp — wall racks or flat storage are best for long-term care.
Binding Compatibility
Bindings must be mounted by an authorized retailer before use. Specify your preferred mount position (center, +1, +2) at the time of mounting. Inspect mounting screws annually to ensure they're tight, and remount if you change boot size or stance width significantly.

🔩
All-Terrain Twin Rocker
"Pairs a twin-tip shape with tip and tail rocker and camber underfoot. This combination delivers playful maneuverability, easy turn initiation, and reliable edge hold. Built for skiers who ride the entire mountain, it supports spinning, switch skiing, and confident performance in mixed conditions year-round resort focused designs." — Twin-tip with tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot. Spins, switches, and holds an edge when carving.
Spectral Braid
"Spectral Braid is a variable-angle fiberglass weave that allows K2 to precisely tune torsional rigidity and flex by zone. Adjusting fiber orientation customizes stability, energy, and forgiveness throughout the ski. This advanced construction delivers targeted performance characteristics, ensuring each ski matches its intended terrain and skier profile exactly." — K2's patented variable-angle fiberglass braid. Tuned by zone for a custom flex pattern.
Carbon Boost
"Carbon Boost uses strategically placed carbon stringers to enhance power transfer and snap without overwhelming the ski. By concentrating carbon in key zones, K2 adds responsiveness, stability, and energy while maintaining a balanced, approachable flex. The result is increased liveliness and edge control with reduced harshness across variable snow conditions." — Longitudinal carbon stringers add pop and durability. "Longitudinal carbon stringers laid on top of the core keep you hunting side hits all day long."
Triaxial Braid
"Triaxial Braid wraps fiberglass around the core at 45-degree angles to improve torsional rigidity and edge control. This construction increases stability and power transmission while maintaining a smooth, consistent flex. Triaxial Braid enhances responsiveness without adding unnecessary weight, delivering predictable performance across varied terrain and snow conditions." — K2's patented Triaxial Braid: fiberglass wrapped at 45° angles around the core. Adds torsional strength and edge hold.
Aspen Veneer Core
"Lightweight and resilient, aspen is a great all-around core material." — Full aspen core: light, snappy, predictable. "Aspen Micro Block core" — the Aspen Veneer core with smaller interlocking sections for material efficiency.
Biobased Resin
"A resin formulation containing 31% biobased carbon content. Designed to deliver strong bonding performance and enhanced cold-temperature durability while incorporating renewable plant-derived materials into the construction." — 31% plant-derived carbon in the resin. Same energy transfer, bonding, and cold-temp durability as conventional resin.
