Charm Youth Pole

With two colorways – his and hers – the Decoy and Charm poles add a dash of style to any kid's setup. Plus, these poles are built out of sturdy aluminum, meaning they can withstand the rowdiest of on-snow antics.

Sturdy aluminum shaft built to withstand the rowdiest on-snow antics — falls, drops, pole-to-pole sword fights in the lift line, and the occasional ski-bag incident. Aluminum construction takes the abuse that comes with learning to ski.
Youth-Sized Rubber Grip
Smaller-diameter rubber grip sized specifically for kid hands. Easier to wrap small fingers around, with a textured surface that stays grippy even with cold, wet mittens. Shorter grip length matches the smaller stance and reach of a junior skier.
Steel Tip
Hardened steel tip bites into hardpack and spring snow so the pole doesn't slip out on hard pole plants. Standard replacement thread pattern means you can swap tips on the mountain if one gets damaged mid-season — no special tools required.
60mm Hard-Snow Basket
Compact 60mm performance basket built for groomers, hard snow, and the bunny hill. Won't drag in soft snow like a powder basket would, and the smaller size keeps swing weight light for shorter arms. Perfect for the conditions kids actually learn in.

After Use
Wipe down the shaft with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. Store poles in a dry place — aluminum shafts can oxidize if left wet in a damp environment for extended periods. A hallway closet or gear locker is ideal.
Tip & Basket Maintenance
Inspect steel tips before each season for bends or dulling. Replace the tip if it's lost its point or bent beyond use. Check that the basket is secure and not cracked; replace if the basket no longer grips the shaft firmly.
Grip Care
Rinse rubber grips with mild soap and water if they get sticky or grimy. Avoid petroleum-based cleaners that can degrade the rubber compound. Let grips air-dry completely before storing.
Storage
Store poles assembled and standing upright or laid flat in a dry, climate-controlled space. Avoid leaning them in corners where they can develop a permanent bend. For long-term off-season storage, a pole bag or boot bag pocket keeps them clean and protected.

For first-time skiers, have your child stand with arms at their sides and elbows at 90° — the pole should reach the palm or wrist crease. If they're between sizes, size down for easier maneuvering on the bunny hill. The Charm is designed for kids still growing, so it's normal to size up mid-season.

Junior Sizing Range
75-105cm in 5cm increments covers kids from 3'0" to 5'2" — roughly ages 3 through 10. The wide range means you can size up at the start of a season and have it fit for the whole year as your kid grows. Aluminum shaft is straight and true even after a season of growing skier abuse.
