Wipe the shell with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt. Use a mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh solvents.
Liner Care
Remove liners periodically for full air-drying.

"Designed for women who prioritize comfort and performance" — the BFC 105 W BOA features a 100 mm last (the wider BFC fit — "Built For Comfort") with a heat-moldable shell and women's-specific liner for a dialed-in fit. 11 sizes cover US women's 5–10 (mondopoint 22.5–27.5). The BFC line is K2's comfort-focused collection — roomier than the women's-specific Anthem line.

🔩
BOA® Fit System
"BOA® Fit System" — the dial closure system delivers micro-adjustable closure with even pressure distribution across the instep and forefoot. Steel lace, polymer guides, and a polymer dial for long-term durability. Quick on/off — twist to tighten, pull out to release. The BOA system is more consistent than traditional buckles and won't loosen during a long ski day.
105 Flex Rating
A versatile mid-stiff flex rating — stiff enough for advanced intermediate to advanced skiers pushing the boot, soft enough to be forgiving for progressing skiers. The 105 flex is the sweet spot for women skiers who want one boot that handles groomers, soft snow, and the occasional park lap without being punishing in any direction.
Heat-Moldable Shell
"Features a heat-moldable shell" — the TPU/PU shell construction can be heat-molded by a certified bootfitter to customize the fit to your specific foot shape. The molding process softens the shell material temporarily so it conforms to pressure points and bony prominences, then sets as it cools. The result is a custom fit without the cost of a fully custom boot.
Women's-Specific Liner
"A women's-specific liner for a dialed-in fit" — the liner is designed around women's specific foot shapes (typically narrower heel, higher arch, lower instep than men's). Heat-moldable for additional customization. The women's-specific fit reduces heel lift and improves overall comfort on long ski days.
100 mm Last Width
The 100 mm last is the wider BFC ("Built For Comfort") fit — roomier than the women's-specific Anthem line's 96–98 mm last. Better for skiers with wider feet, higher volume feet, or anyone who prioritizes all-day comfort over a performance race fit. Still responsive enough for all-mountain skiing.
Lightweight Construction
"All-day performance in a lightweight frame" — at ~1800g per pair, the BFC 105 W BOA is lighter than most women's 105-flex boots in this category. Lighter boots reduce leg fatigue on long ski days and make the boot more maneuverable for progressing skiers who are still building leg strength.
BFC Collection Positioning
"BFC" stands for "Built For Comfort" — K2's comfort-focused collection. Sits between the Anthem (women's performance) and Recon (all-mountain) lines. The BFC line prioritizes all-day wearability, easier entry/exit, and a roomier fit over maximum performance. Ideal for skiers who prioritize comfort over charging hard.
GripWalk Soles (Typical)
K2 women's BFC boots typically feature GripWalk soles — the high-friction rubber pads on the toe and heel of the sole make walking on hard surfaces (parking lots, lodges) much safer than traditional alpine soles. GripWalk boots are also compatible with GripWalk bindings without adjustment.
Compatibility
  • Bindings: all standard alpine bindings (Marker, Salomon, Atomic, Tyrolia, Look) via flat-mount design
  • GripWalk: compatible with all GripWalk bindings (no adjustment needed); also works with traditional alpine bindings
  • Boot sole length: standard 250–320mm range depending on size selection
  • DIN setting: 3–10 typical for women intermediate-to-advanced; have a certified tech set DIN based on weight, height, ability, and boot sole length
  • No special tools required for basic binding mounting (4 x M6 binding screws)
  • Custom molding: requires a certified bootfitter with a boot oven — not a DIY process
