Method Team 2027

The FL3X Method Team is the only boot for Freestyle OG's, Henrik Harlaut and Phil Casabon. The Method Team is ideal for freestyle skiers looking for a comfortable fit that won't sacrifice performance. Built on FL3X's 3-piece platform with a 102mm high-volume last, Intuition Pro Wrap liner, and 90 flex tuned for park laps, urban features, and competition-level trick riding.

3-Piece Shell Construction
The classic 3-piece overlap design is the gold standard for freestyle boots — tongue, upper cuff, and lower shell move independently for smooth, progressive flex that doesn't fight you on rail presses or butter tricks. The Harlaut/Casabon pro-model setup: 3-piece delivers the freestyle flex pattern they trust for competition-level trick riding.
90 Flex Rating
The 90 flex delivers the versatile blend of support and forgiveness needed for park, mogul, and freestyle riders. Stiff enough to drive through chunder and chop, soft enough to butter and press all day without your shins paying for it. The pro team's freestyle-tuned flex.
Intuition Pro Wrap Liner
Heat-moldable Intuition® Pro Wrap liner is the pro-tier Intuition construction — full wrap around the foot and lower leg for the most consistent custom fit. Pre-shaped ankle pockets and a pre-formed tongue reduce break-in time, and the Pro Wrap foam holds its mold through years of heavy freestyle abuse.
102mm High Volume Last
The 102mm last is the widest volume in the FL3X lineup — built for riders with wide forefeet, high insteps, or who simply prefer a roomier freestyle fit. The 3-piece construction adapts better to high-volume feet than 2-piece boots, so wider riders get a comfortable fit without sacrificing the freestyle flex pattern.
Harlaut & Casabon Pro Model
The Method Team is the only boot for Freestyle OG's Henrik Harlaut and Phil Casabon — both pro riders have input on the flex pattern, last shape, and liner construction. When you ski the Method Team, you're skiing the same boot setup they use to win X Games and Dew Tour medals.

Drying
Remove liners after each use and air dry at room temperature away from direct heat. Buckles should be stored open or loosely closed to allow airflow and prevent shell deformation. Never use a hair dryer or place boots on a radiator.
Shell Cleaning
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt. Use a mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh solvents that can damage the shell material or buckle components. Pay special attention to the tongue hinge area on 3-piece boots to keep the pivot clean.
Liner Care
Remove Intuition Pro Wrap liners periodically for full air-drying. Hand-wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, then air-dry completely. Never machine wash or tumble dry. Re-heat-mold your Intuition liner if pressure points develop after several days of skiing — a boot fitter can re-mold in 10 minutes.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Buckles should be left loose during long-term storage. For off-season, slip a boot tree or rolled magazine into each shell to maintain shape and keep the tongue hinge properly aligned.

The Method Team runs in a 102mm high-volume last — built for riders with wider feet who usually cramp in narrow park boots. The 3-piece construction adapts better to high-volume feet than 2-piece overlap boots, so most wide-foot riders find a comfortable fit. Pro-team fit: most park skiers size down 0.5 mondo from their all-mountain boot for a tighter freestyle feel.

Comfort-Focused Construction
Built in the FL3X "Comfort" category for riders who want a freestyle boot that doesn't punish them on long days. The Intuition Pro Wrap liner and 3-piece construction work together to reduce pressure points and hot spots, so you can ski park laps, hike features, and travel to contests without foot fatigue.
Park-Optimized Closure
Micro-adjustable buckles with cable closure deliver even pressure across the instep and forefoot. Quick one-handed buckle micro-adjustments let you tighten or loosen on the chairlift without removing gloves — important for park riders who lap the same chair all day.
Freestyle Cuff Geometry
Shorter cuff geometry gives the Method Team a freestyle-friendly range of motion in walk mode and more room to flex forward for presses and butters. The cuff locks solidly for descent performance without any play that would kill your edge-to-edge response on rails and groomers.
