Drying
Remove liners after each use and air dry at room temperature away from direct heat. Buckles should be stored open or loosely closed to allow airflow and prevent shell deformation.
Shell Cleaning
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt. Use a mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh solvents that can damage the shell material.
Liner Care
Remove liners periodically for full air-drying. Replace liners when they no longer hold their shape or insulation properties.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a boot bag for transport and storage.

"From first tracks to après and everything in between, the FL3X Method Pro is the go-to freestyle boot for skiers looking to prioritize comfort and all-mountain performance" — 13 sizes cover US men's 6–12 (mondopoint 24.5–30.5). The 100 mm last is the standard mid-volume fit — roomy enough for all-day comfort but responsive enough for aggressive skiing. "Designed to provide exceptional versatility" — one boot that handles park laps, moguls, groomers, and everything in between.

🔩
FL3X Freestyle Lineage
"The FL3X Method Pro" — FL3X is K2's freestyle-focused boot line, built for park and all-mountain freestyle performance. The Method Pro carries the FL3X DNA with a balance of flex, support, and responsiveness tuned for both park laps and mountain adventures.
100 Flex (Versatile)
"The perfect balance of flex, support, and responsiveness" — the 100 flex is the sweet spot for intermediate-to-advanced freestyle skiers who want enough support for charging but enough forgiveness for buttering and pressing. The 100 flex delivers all-mountain performance without being punishing for freestyle maneuvers.
100 mm Last Width (Mid-Volume)
The 100 mm last is the standard mid-volume fit — roomy enough for all-day comfort but responsive enough for aggressive skiing. Better for average to slightly wider feet, or anyone who prioritizes all-day comfort over a race-tight fit.
Heat-Moldable Liner
The heat-moldable liner can be customized by a certified bootfitter using a boot oven. The molding process softens the liner foam temporarily so it conforms to your foot shape, then sets as it cools. The result is a custom fit without the cost of a fully custom boot.
3-Buckle Closure
The traditional 3-buckle closure provides reliable, time-tested boot closure with micro-adjustable buckles for fine-tuning fit. The 3-buckle design is lighter than 4-buckle systems and provides plenty of closure for intermediate-to-advanced skiers.
Park + Mountain Versatility
"This boot offers the perfect balance of flex, support, and responsiveness for both park and mountain adventures" — the Method Pro is designed for skiers who want one boot that handles park laps, moguls, groomers, and everything in between. The versatile 100 flex and 100mm last work for a wide range of foot shapes and skiing styles.
Charging + Carving Capability
"Built to charge and carve" — the Method Pro is versatile enough to charge groomers and carve hard but soft enough for freestyle maneuvers. "The perfect balance" — a true quiver-of-one boot for skiers who want one setup that handles every condition on the mountain.
~1800 g Per Pair (Lightweight)
At ~1800 g per pair, the Method Pro is lightweight for a 100 flex boot. The lighter weight makes the boot easier to maneuver in the air, less fatiguing on long days, and more playful for freestyle maneuvers. Lighter boots also reduce swing weight for quicker turns.
Compatibility
  • Bindings: all standard alpine bindings (Marker, Salomon, Atomic, Tyrolia, Look) via flat-mount design
  • GripWalk: compatible with all GripWalk bindings (no adjustment needed); also works with traditional alpine bindings
  • Boot sole length: standard 260–340mm range depending on size selection
  • DIN setting: 3–11 typical for men intermediate-to-advanced; have a certified tech set DIN based on weight, height, ability, and boot sole length
  • No special tools required for basic binding mounting (4 x M6 binding screws)
  • Custom molding: requires a certified bootfitter with a boot oven — not a DIY process
