Women's Hydrenalite™ Down Hoodie
Women's Hydrenalite™ Down Hoodie
Down Hoodie · Casual / Travel / Cold-Weather

Cold weather shouldn't mean less time outdoors. The Women's Hydrenalite™ Down Hoodie is a bomber-inspired puffer that blurs the line between form and function. 600-fill recycled down delivers serious loft in a lightweight, compressible package, and the fully recycled, water-repellent shell takes a slushy sidewalk or a misty trailhead in stride. Lightweight. Compressible. Protective. Made to get you out there — and back.

Regular Fit
Cut close to the body with a bomber-style cropped length — sits cleanly on the shoulders, ends at the high hip, and leaves room for a base layer or a light mid-layer underneath without bunching.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
A non-PFC durable water-repellent finish sheds light rain, snow, and the damp of a misty morning — water beads up and rolls off the face fabric instead of saturating the down.
Recycled Nylon Shell & Lining
Body fabric and lining are both 100% recycled nylon taffeta — lightweight, smooth against base layers, and built to slide cleanly under a shell if conditions turn serious.
600-Fill Recycled Down
600-fill recycled waterfowl down delivers serious loft-to-weight ratio — warm for the grams, fully compressible into its own pocket or a pack stuff-sack, and traceable through The North Face's recycled down program.
Attached Three-Piece Hood
Attached three-piece hood follows the natural shape of your head for clean peripheral vision and a close, no-flap fit — sized to layer over a beanie on a deep cold day.
VISLON® Center Front Zip with Draft Flap
Exposed, VISLON® center front zip runs smooth with a gloved hand and stays durable through years of daily wear. Internal draft flap behind the zip blocks wind from wicking through the teeth and against your chest.
Exposed-Zip Hand Pockets
Exposed-zip hand pockets sit at the natural hip line — sized for gloves, a phone, and a key, with zippers that run smooth and tuck cleanly into the pocket entry when not in use.
Encased Elastic at Sides, Cuffs & Back Hem
Encased elastic at the sides, cuffs, and back of the hem seals in warmth and locks the silhouette in place — no flapping, no billowing in a stiff wind, no cold-air gaps at the wrist or lower back.
Embroidered Logo Placement
Embroidered logo on the left chest and back-right shoulder — clean, durable branding that won't peel, crack, or fade like a printed graphic.

Use a Front-Loading Washer
Wash the hoodie in a front-loading washing machine on a gentle cycle. Top-loaders with an agitator can damage the baffles, the down, and the DWR finish on the face fabric. Cold water only.
Down-Specific Detergent
Use a down-specific or technical wash (no fabric softener, no bleach, no regular detergent). Standard detergents strip the natural oils from the down clusters and reduce long-term loft.
Tumble Dry Low with Tennis Balls
Tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls. The balls break up clumps of wet down and re-fluff the baffles as the jacket dries. Expect two to three full cycles to dry the down completely.
Re-Treat the DWR
When the shell stops beading water, refresh the non-PFC DWR finish with a spray-on treatment. Restored water repellency keeps the face fabric breathable and the down loft dry.
Store Uncompressed
Store the hoodie on a wide hanger in a closet — not stuffed in a compression sack for weeks at a time. Long-term compression reduces the loft and the long-term warmth of the down fill.
Spot Clean When Possible
For small spills and surface grime, spot clean with a damp cloth and a drop of down wash. Saves a full wash cycle and keeps the down loft fresh for longer between full cleanings.
