Men's Stratoburst Stretch Rain Jacket

DescriptionKey FeaturesSpecificationsCare

Wet-weather defense with 100% recycled materials and mechanical stretch, the Stratoburst Stretch Rain Jacket pairs bluesign® approved 2.5-layer Ventia™ fabric with fully-taped seams to seal out wind and moisture on cool weather climbing and hiking missions. Adjustable hood, large pit zips, and a packable left-hand-pocket stuff sack keep you prepared for variable weather.

Ventia™ 2.5L Waterproof Construction

bluesign® approved 2.5-layer Ventia™ membrane in 100% Recycled Polyester 50D Mechanical Stretch Plain Weave delivers waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection from the elements.

Movement-Mirroring Stretch

Built-in mechanical stretch in the face fabric moves with the body for unrestricted mobility on the trail, climb, or hike.

Fully Seam-Taped

Every seam is taped to keep moisture from sneaking in through stitching on the wettest days.

Updated DWR Treatment

Newly updated DWR treatment provides wet-weather protection without releasing harmful toxins into the environment during production — sustainable and functional.

Lightweight

8.47 oz construction packs down small without weighing you down on long trail days or backcountry missions.

Adjustable Hood

Adjustable hood customizes fit and seals out wind and rain on exposed ridgelines and stormy alpine starts.

YKK® Aquaguard® Center Front Zipper

Premium waterproof center front zipper blocks rain at the main closure — keeps your baselayers dry through sustained wet weather.

Internal Front Storm Flap

Internal storm flap behind the center front zipper adds a second barrier against wind and water at the main closure.

Large Pit Zips for Easy Venting

Oversized pit zips dump heat fast on the climb without removing layers — perfect for variable effort on the trail.

Zip Hand Pockets

Two zippered hand pockets sized for everyday essentials and secure enough to keep items in place during dynamic movement.

Left Hand Pocket Doubles as Stuff Sack

Reverse the left hand pocket over the jacket to pack the whole jacket down small for easy pack storage.

Drawcord Adjustable Hem

Adjustable drawcord at the hem cinches the jacket tight against your body to seal out wind and trap warmth.

Close All Zippers Before Washing

Zip every pocket closed and secure hook-and-loop fasteners before laundering to prevent damage to the face fabric and zippers.

Machine Wash Cold

Wash on a gentle cycle with a technical outerwear cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash. Avoid standard detergents that leave residues that clog breathable pores and degrade DWR.

Tumble Dry Low or Hang Dry

Tumble dry on low heat to reactivate the DWR finish, or hang dry away from direct sunlight.

Do Not Bleach

Bleach will degrade the Ventia™ membrane and compromise waterproof performance.

Do Not Iron

Direct heat from an iron can melt the face fabric and damage the Ventia™ membrane.

Do Not Dry Clean

Dry cleaning solvents will strip the DWR coating and break down the membrane's waterproof performance.

Re-Apply DWR Periodically

When water stops beading on the shell, refresh the durable water repellent finish with a spray-on DWR product to restore performance.
