Washing
Machine wash the Ferrosi Joggers in cold water with a mild technical fabric wash (like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash). Avoid standard household detergents, fabric softeners, or bleach, which can damage the Ferrosi fabric's DWR treatment and reduce breathability. Close all zippers before washing. Use a gentle cycle and rinse thoroughly.
DWR Refresh
The Ferrosi fabric has a DWR treatment that helps water bead off the surface. When water stops beading (the fabric "wets out" and water soaks in), refresh the DWR with a wash-in or spray-on product (like Nikwax TX.Direct or Grangers Performance Repel). Apply per the product instructions, then tumble dry on low heat or iron on low with a cloth barrier to activate the DWR.
Drying
Tumble dry the Ferrosi Joggers on low heat or hang to air dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage the fabric and the DWR treatment. The Ferrosi fabric dries quickly on its own, so air drying is usually sufficient. If the joggers are heavily soiled or have absorbed a lot of sweat, rinse thoroughly before drying to remove salt and body oils that can damage the fabric over time.
Storage
Store the Ferrosi Joggers in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving the joggers in direct sunlight for extended periods — UV exposure can degrade the fabric and the DWR treatment over time. The joggers can be stored folded or hung on a wide hanger (avoid thin wire hangers that can damage the fabric). For long-term storage, make sure the joggers are clean and completely dry to prevent mildew and odor.
Repair
