Expedition Crocodile Classic Gaiter

High-performance gaiter for mountaineering and extreme environments, the Expedition Crocodile® Gaiter is purpose-built to protect lower legs and feet during extended mountaineering trips to 8,000-meter peaks and beyond. 3-layer GORE-TEX® construction pairs with a rugged Cordura® lower and 420D packcloth lining for elite abrasion resistance, waterproof protection, and breathability.

3L GORE-TEX® Upper Leg Panel
bluesign® approved 3-layer GORE-TEX® in 100% Nylon 70D Plain Weave delivers breathable, waterproof protection for the upper leg — keeps snow and moisture out during extended alpine missions.
Cordura® Lower Exterior
2-layer 100% Nylon 1000D Cordura® on the lower exterior and foot panel provides elite abrasion resistance and protection against crampon puncture and ski edges on the gnarliest terrain.
420D Packcloth Lining
100% Nylon 420D Packcloth lining with PU Coating adds breathability, additional insulation, and protection against the boot and crampon edges.
Durable BioThane® Instep Strap
Reinforced BioThane® instep strap wraps under the boot and locks the gaiter in place through technical terrain, steep sidehilling, and extended mountaineering objectives.
Double Stitched Hook and Loop Front Closure
Reinforced double-stitched hook-and-loop front closure seals out snow and debris while allowing quick on/off between trail segments and transitions.
Reinforced Boot Lace Hooks
Stainless steel lace hooks at the front secure the gaiter to your boot laces — keeps the gaiter locked down on steep terrain and prevents ride-up during high-stepping.
Buckle Top Hem Closure
Adjustable buckle at the top hem cinches the gaiter tight around your calf — seals out snow and debris during deep powder and heavy precipitation.
Abrasion-Resistant
Cordura® lower exterior and 420D packcloth lining stand up to crampons, ski edges, and rocky alpine terrain through seasons of hard use.

Secure hook-and-loop front closure and buckle top hem before laundering to prevent damage to the face fabric and closures.

Air Dry
Air dry at room temperature. Do not tumble dry — heat can damage the GORE-TEX® membrane and Cordura® shell.
Do Not Bleach
Bleach will degrade the GORE-TEX® membrane and damage the Cordura® shell.
Do Not Iron
Heat from ironing will melt the synthetic fibers and damage the GORE-TEX® membrane.
Do Not Dry Clean
Dry cleaning solvents will damage the GORE-TEX® membrane and degrade the Cordura® shell.
