Scuba Hood for Secure Fit
Form-fitting scuba-style hood covers the head, neck, and partial face — designed for sun protection that stays in place during active use. Doesn't flap in wind like loose hoods.
Thumbholes for Added Coverage
Thumbholes at the cuffs extend the sleeve over the back of the hand — protects the often-forgotten hand skin from sun exposure during paddling, driving, or extended outdoor work.

Length Note

Washing
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Turn inside out to protect the wicking finish on the face of the fabric. Skip fabric softener — it coats the Polygiene treatment and reduces anti-odor effectiveness.
Drying
Air dry (hang or flat). ANNE G. (5★): "I never put my tees in the dryer so it stays as new." Air drying is gentlest on the recycled poly + spandex and preserves the UPF treatment longest.
Ironing
Do not iron. Direct heat damages the wicking finish and UPF treatment.
Bleach
Do not bleach. Chlorine damages the recycled polyester and the UPF treatment.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. Solvents strip the Polygiene anti-odor treatment.
UPF Refresh
UPF treatment is permanent in the fabric — does NOT wash out like chemical UPF sprays. The fabric maintains 50+ rating for the life of the garment.
Storage
Fold or hang — avoid hanging the scuba hood for long periods (stretches the hood opening over time).
