Abrasion-Resistant Nylon Blend

A bluesign® approved 95% nylon / 5% spandex blend delivers durable, abrasion-resistant performance that stands up to brush, rock, and daily wear across seasons of hard use, with just enough stretch to keep the silhouette comfortable on the move.

DWR Water & Wind Resistance

A DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds light rain, drizzle, wet brush, and snow flurries while resisting wind chill on exposed ridgelines and breezy summits.

UPF 50+ Sun Protection

Maximum-rated sun protection shields the legs from harmful UV rays on long, exposed trail days, alpine traverses, and paddle sessions, eliminating the need for sunscreen on covered skin.

Gusseted Crotch

A gusseted crotch eliminates binding and chafing at the inseam during high-stepping moves, deep squats, scrambles, and long days in the saddle on technical descents.

Knife-Compatible Hand Pocket

Cleaning

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical-gear or liquid detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the spandex stretch, the DWR finish, and the UPF rating over time.

Drying

Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes to reactivate the DWR finish, or hang to air dry. The quick-drying nylon will air dry in minutes. Avoid high heat, which can damage the spandex content and warp the rivets or metal shank button.

DWR Refresh

When the fabric no longer sheds water, reproof with a spray-on DWR treatment compatible with stretch nylon to restore water-shedding performance without compromising the stretch or the UPF finish.

Storage

Allow the shorts to dry fully before storing. Hang on a clip hanger or fold loosely in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid compression under heavy gear, which can crush the rivet reinforcements and degrade the spandex stretch over time.
