Men's Helium UL Gaiter

The Helium UL Gaiter is built for technical trails and unpredictable weather, delivering ultralight, waterproof protection from mud, snow, and debris during fast-moving adventures. Made with bluesign® approved Pertex® Shield NetPlus® fabric from 100% recycled nylon, this gaiter offers highly breathable, durable weatherproof performance without the bulk. The updated design features a reinforced Hypalon instep strap for secure attachment, a boot lace hook for added stability, and a double-stitched hook-and-loop closure for lasting durability. An offset left/right design simplifies setup, while a top drawcord cinch ensures a snug, stay-put fit through every climb, scramble, and stride.

Pertex® Shield NetPlus® Waterproof Shell
A 2.5-layer bluesign® approved Pertex® Shield NetPlus® laminate with hydrophilic membrane delivers fully waterproof, windproof protection while remaining highly breathable, keeping you dry from rain, sleet, and spindrift without the clammy condensation of non-breathable gaiters.
Durable Hypalon Instep Strap
A reinforced Hypalon strap under the boot provides bombproof abrasion resistance against rocks, crampons, and trail edges, keeping the gaiter anchored through thousands of vertical feet.
Boot Lace Hook
A low-profile hook secures under the boot lace to lock the front of the gaiter in place, preventing ride-up and gaps during steep climbs and side-hilling.
Double-Stitched Hook-and-Loop Closure
A reinforced hook-and-loop front closure runs the full height of the gaiter for easy on/off and long-term durability through repeated use in abrasive terrain.
Offset Left/Right Design
The front closure is offset so the left and right gaiters are mirror images, making it instantly clear which is which when you're suiting up at the trailhead in the dark or in a storm.
Drawcord Cinch at Top Hem
A simple drawcord at the top hem lets you dial in a snug, stay-put seal around the calf to keep out snow, scree, and trail debris without bunching or slippage.
Lightweight & Packable
At just 3.8 oz per pair, the gaiters stuff into a small pocket or pack and pull on instantly when conditions shift, without weighing down your kit on long, fast missions.

Cleaning
Brush off loose dirt and mud once dry. Hand wash in cold water with a technical-gear cleaner. Do not machine wash, bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the Pertex® Shield membrane and seam tape.
Drying
Always dry the gaiter completely before long-term storage. Wipe out any condensation or moisture, prop the gaiter open in the breeze, or set it up briefly in the sun at home after a wet trip. Avoid prolonged direct UV exposure, which can degrade the waterproof membrane over time.
Seam Tape Inspection
Periodically inspect the seam tape for lifting, peeling, or damage, especially after hard trips in abrasive terrain. A small tube of seam-seal repair adhesive can re-bond loose tape in the field and prevent slow leaks at the stitching.
Storage
Store the gaiter loosely folded or hung in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid keeping it compressed in its stuff sack for long periods, which can damage the membrane and reduce breathability. Keep the mesh panels away from rodents that may chew through fine fabrics.
