Polartec® 200 Ubertube

The Polartec® 200 Ubertube is a versatile outdoor essential, delivering adaptable coverage and breathable comfort in variable conditions. Crafted with Polartec® technology, this multi-functional headwear is made from bluesign® approved recycled materials for sustainable performance. The soft, wicking fabric efficiently manages moisture, dries quickly, and provides UPF 50+ sun protection for long days on the trail. A drawcord cinch at the top hem allows for seamless adaptability—wear it as a neck gaiter, face covering, or beanie. From trail runs to alpine ascents, the Polartec® 200 Ubertube delivers lightweight protection, moisture-wicking performance, and all-day comfort wherever the day takes you.

Polartec® 200 Series Fleece
Mid-weight Polartec® 200 fleece provides a versatile warmth-to-breathability ratio ideal for cool-weather active use, delivering reliable insulation without overheating during high-exertion pursuits.
Multi-Configuration Wear
Wear it as a neck gaiter, face covering, beanie, headband, or balaclava. The seamless tube construction and drawcord cinch adapt to a wide range of coverage needs and conditions without extra bulk in your pack.
UPF 50+ Sun Protection
Maximum-rated sun protection shields the neck and face from harmful UV rays during long days in exposed terrain, eliminating the need for sunscreen on covered skin.
Drawcord Cinch at Top Hem
A simple drawcord at the top hem cinches the tube closed for beanie-style wear, seals out drafts when used as a face covering, and adjusts coverage on the fly without removing the gaiter.
Integrated Nose Wire
A moldable nose wire at the face panel lets you shape the gaiter to seal around the nose and cheeks, keeping cold air out and preventing fogging when worn under sunglasses or goggles.
Woven Face Panel
A bluesign® approved woven face panel (60% recycled nylon / 40% nylon) provides a more wind- and abrasion-resistant surface over the nose and mouth, where breath condensation is hardest on fabric.
Moisture-Wicking & Quick Drying
The recycled polyester blend pulls moisture off the skin and dries fast, keeping you comfortable when the pace picks up or the humidity spikes. Won't stay soggy after a long climb in wet snow.
Lightweight & Packable
At just 1.4 oz, the Ubertube stuffs into a pocket, vest, or pack and pulls on instantly when conditions shift.

Cleaning
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild technical-gear or liquid detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the Polartec® fleece finish and reduce the UPF rating over time.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry. The quick-drying knit will air dry in minutes. Avoid high heat, which can damage the spandex content and reduce the elastic recovery of the fabric.
Nose Wire Care
The integrated nose wire is moldable but not indestructible. Avoid sharp bends or kinks; reshape gently with your fingers as needed. If the wire becomes damaged or loses its shape, discontinue use or replace the gaiter.
UPF Care
UPF protection is inherent to the fabric knit and will not wash out. Avoid aggressive stretching (over a helmet strap, for example), which can thin the material and reduce UPF coverage in high-wear zones.
Storage
Allow the gaiter to dry fully before storing. Roll or stuff loosely in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. The lightweight fabric resists creasing and is ready to wear straight out of storage.
