ACG Dolomiti Women's Pants

To put these pants to the test, we took them to the Dolomite mountains in northeastern Italy. There, we trekked through the mountains and explored caves. The verdict? Water-repellent and UV-resistant tech made these pants ideal for mountain hiking. The loose fit with bungees at the hem added the adjustability we needed for a comfortable feel.

Tested in the Dolomite Mountains
"We tested these pants on a hut-to-hut trek through the Dolomite mountains" — the Dolomiti was field-tested in the Italian Alps under real alpine conditions. "Via ferratas helped us scale verticals and meadows dotted with daisies invited us to weave flower crowns" — the pants were tested on multi-day treks with real-world use, from technical climbing to casual walking through alpine meadows.
Water-Repellent + UV-Resistant
"Water-repellent and UV-resistant tech made these pants ideal for mountain hiking" — the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish sheds light rain and dries quickly, while the UV-resistant fabric blocks harmful sun rays. "Made these pants ideal for mountain hiking" — the dual protection handles the variable conditions of alpine environments, from sun-baked ridges to sudden showers.
Loose Fit with Bungee Hem
"The loose fit with bungees at the hem added the adjustability we needed for a comfortable feel" — the loose, roomy fit provides freedom of movement for hiking, climbing, and scrambling. "Bungees at the hem" let you cinch the pants tight at the ankle to keep out debris, snow, and water, or loosen them for ventilation on hot days. "Adjustability we needed" — the customizable fit works for different activities and weather conditions.
Intentional Details
"From adjustable bungees to a snap closure on the back pocket" — the Dolomiti is stacked with considered details. "The elastic waistband with belt gives you a fit that feels right" — the integrated belt provides customizable sizing and a secure, comfortable fit. "Stacked with considered details" — every element of the design serves a purpose, from the bungee hem to the snap-closure pocket.
Mountain Hiking Versatility
"Trek through the mountains and explored caves" — the Dolomiti is built for the variety of mountain activities. "Mountain hiking" is the primary use case, but the technical features (water-repellent, UV-resistant, loose fit, bungee hem) make the pants versatile enough for climbing, scrambling, via ferrata, and casual outdoor wear.

Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish requires gentle care to maintain its water-shedding properties. Use a technical wash cleaner designed for outdoor/waterproof garments. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can degrade the DWR coating and the UV-resistant finish.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The DWR finish benefits from occasional tumble drying on low heat to reactivate the water-shedding properties. Avoid high heat, which can damage the bungee adjusters and the elastic waistband.
DWR Reapplication
To restore the water-repellent finish after extensive washing, use a technical fabric DWR spray or wash-in treatment. The treatment creates a water-shedding layer on the outer fabric that helps maintain the waterproof performance over the life of the pants. Reapply after every 5-10 washes for optimal performance.
Storage
Store hanging or folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in damp conditions, as moisture can compromise the DWR finish. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of the Black/Summit White colorway.
