ACG Misery Ridge Men's Storm-FIT ADV GORE-TEX 3L Jacket

Rain and wind aren't a problem for GORE-TEX 3L tech. It's designed to face stormy gales. For hikers who dare to chase summits even in the most intense downpours — this one's for you. Made with GORE-TEX 3L fabric, this windproof and waterproof jacket is every bit as tough and technical as its namesake, Misery Ridge. And all the details — adjustable hood, cinchable cuffs and bungee hem — are there to help keep the elements at bay.

GORE-TEX 3L Waterproof + Windproof
"GORE-TEX 3L fabric is made by fusing three layers (tough outer face, breathable waterproof membrane and soft lining) together for a durable windproof and waterproof shell" — the 3-layer construction is the gold standard for technical rainwear. "Tough outer face" resists abrasion from brush and rock. "Breathable waterproof membrane" lets sweat vapor escape while blocking rain. "Soft lining" provides next-to-skin comfort for extended wear.
Storm-FIT ADV Technology
"Storm-FIT ADV" is Nike's premium weather protection technology for harsh conditions. "Designed to face stormy gales" — the Storm-FIT ADV designation indicates the highest level of weather protection in the Nike lineup. The combination of GORE-TEX 3L + Storm-FIT ADV engineering delivers reliable waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability for the most demanding mountain conditions.
Four Pockets + Hydration Sleeve
"A pocket's a pocket. But this jacket has four. Three of them are zippered" — the Misery Ridge has more pockets than a standard shell jacket. "The fourth one, an inner mesh drop-in pocket, is designed to fit a 500ml hydration flask" — the mesh hydration sleeve lets you carry a soft flask on the trail without a hydration pack, reducing the weight on your back for short outings.
Ventilation + Adjustability
"Armpit zippers for airflow, a hood with three bungees, a two-way zipper and adjustable hem come together for an adventure-ready style" — the combination of pit zips, 3-bungee hood, 2-way front zipper, and bungee hem delivers total adjustability. "Adventure-ready style" — every detail serves a purpose for active use. Pit zips dump heat during high-output activity. 3-bungee hood customizes the fit. 2-way zipper enables ventilation from the bottom. Bungee hem seals out drafts.
Named for Misery Ridge
"This one's for you" — the Misery Ridge is named for the famous climbing area in central Oregon known for its exposed, technical terrain and extreme weather. "Chase summits even in the most intense downpours" — the jacket is built to handle the conditions found at Misery Ridge and similar demanding environments. The name signals the jacket's purpose: serious protection for serious mountain pursuits.

Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. The GORE-TEX 3L membrane and DWR coating require gentle care to maintain their waterproof performance. Use a technical wash cleaner designed for GORE-TEX garments. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh detergents, which can degrade the membrane and the seam-sealed construction.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The GORE-TEX 3L benefits from occasional tumble drying on low heat to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. Avoid high heat, which can damage the membrane and the seam-sealed construction.
DWR Reapplication
To restore the water-repellent finish after extensive washing, use a technical fabric DWR spray or wash-in treatment designed for GORE-TEX. The treatment creates a water-shedding layer on the outer fabric that helps maintain the waterproof performance over the life of the jacket. Reapply after every 5-10 washes for optimal performance.
Storage
Store hanging on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding for long periods, as creases can weaken the DWR finish. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of the Bold Berry/Hyper Royal/Summit White colorway.
