Leather Thickness

Cleaning
Brush off dirt, mud, and salt with a stiff bristle brush after each outing. Wipe the 1.8 mm Idro-Perwanger® leather upper with lukewarm water and mild soap; rinse and towel dry.
Conditioning
Periodically treat the Idro-Perwanger® leather with a wax- or oil-based conditioner designed for mountaineering boots to maintain water repellency and prevent drying.
Drying
Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or radiators. Loosen all laces fully to allow airflow through the ePE GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining.
Carbon-Filled Eyelets
Inspect the carbon-filled technopolymer eyelets for cracks or damage after heavy crampon use. Damaged eyelets should be replaced to maintain secure lacing under load.
Waterproofing Refresh
Periodically revive the ePE GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane's water repellency with a spray-on DWR treatment designed for technical mountaineering boots.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Loosen all laces and lightly stuff with paper to hold shape and absorb residual moisture.
