Cleaning

Brush off dirt, mud, ice, and salt with a stiff bristle brush after each outing. Wipe the 3.2 mm silicone-impregnated Idro-Perwanger® Roughout leather upper and Vibram® rubber rands with lukewarm water and mild soap; rinse and towel dry.

Drying

Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or radiators. Loosen all laces and remove the adjustable tongue to allow airflow through the GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort lining.

Tongue Adjustment

The removable and adjustable variable-fit tongue allows you to customize volume — use the thickest configuration for warmth in deep cold, or remove entirely for a low-volume fit on technical terrain.

Leather Care

The 3.2 mm silicone-impregnated Roughout leather retains water repellency well due to its PFOA treatment. Periodically treat with a leather conditioner or wax designed for full-grain mountaineering boots to prevent drying and maintain weatherproofing.

Crampon Compatibility

The 8–9 mm TPU midsole accepts automatic and semi-automatic crampons. Inspect attachment points before each outing.

Waterproofing Refresh

Periodically revive the GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane's water repellency with a spray-on DWR treatment designed for technical mountaineering boots.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Loosen all laces and lightly stuff with paper to hold shape and absorb residual moisture.
