Thraxis Unisex Snowboard Boot

A clear leader in the freeride category — the Thraxis is K2's stiffest flexing and most supportive boot in the lineup, built for the most demanding riders. The zonal BOA® Fit System features three BOA® dials — two targeting zonal exterior lacing and one controlling the Conda™ liner fit system. By placing a soft, urethane "chip" around the 45° of the ankle, riders can micro-adjust their boot fit and eliminate heel lift. The most supportive Intuition™ liner uses multiple densities of heat-moldable foam — open-cell construction means it can be re-molded time and time again to achieve the perfect fit throughout the boot's life. Spaceheater™ lining keeps feet warm and dry, while 95% post-consumer recycled SCafe™ coffee mesh eliminates odor. Underfoot, the lightweight stable EVA + Eco-Harshmellow™ midsole absorbs impact and provides a quieter ride, while the Vibram® V5 outsole (≥30% recycled rubber through Vibram® Ecostep) provides unmatched traction.

Three BOA® Dials with Zonal Control
Zonal BOA® Fit System with three BOA® dials — two targeting zonal exterior lacing for upper and lower zones, and one controlling K2's Conda™ liner fit system. Most adjustable boot in the K2 line for the dial-in precision serious freeriders demand.
Urethane "Chip" Ankle Adjustment
A soft, urethane chip placed around the 45° angle of the ankle — lets riders micro-adjust their boot fit and eliminate heel lift. Fine-tunable ankle hold for technical descents and aggressive carving.
Multi-Density Intuition™ Pro Foam Liner (Re-Moldable)
K2's most supportive liner — composed of multiple densities of heat-moldable Intuition™ foam. Open-cell construction means the liner can be re-molded time and time again throughout the boot's life, achieving the perfect fit at every stage.
TX3 Textile Lace
A flexible, low-friction textile lace that provides a soft, modern design aesthetic with lasting durability and strength. Different from standard laces — smoother operation, longer lifespan, more refined feel.
Vibram® V5 Outsole (Ecostep Recycled)
Premium rubber compound provides industry-leading durability and grip — integrated with Harshmellow™ foam to absorb chatter and vibration. Made using at least 30% recycled rubber through the Vibram® Ecostep program for a more sustainable build.
Eco-Harshmellow™ Midsole + Insole
Lightweight and stable EVA midsole paired with Eco-Harshmellow™ — K2's proprietary technology that absorbs impact, increases damping, and provides a quieter ride while snowboarding. Vibration dampening from outsole to insole.
S'Cafe™ Coffee Mesh + Spaceheater™
95% post-consumer recycled SCafe™ coffee mesh integrated into the liner for natural odor elimination. Paired with breathable and heat-reflecting Spaceheater™ material — keeps feet warm and dry all day long.
Flex Zone Upper Cuff
Designed to retain a consistent flex pattern while reducing shell distortion when flexing — the cuff flexes smoothly without warping the boot's overall structure. Maintains integrity through aggressive riding while preserving the boot's flex feel.

Re-Moldable Liner Care
The Thraxis's Intuition™ Pro Foam liner is re-moldable throughout the boot's life — not just once at the start. Have a qualified boot fitter heat-mold the liner periodically to maintain the perfect fit as the foam settles or as your foot shape changes. Open-cell foam accepts re-molding reliably.
BOA® System Care
Three BOA® dials to keep clean and free of snow/ice. Tap each dial after each run to dislodge debris. The TX3 textile lace is replaceable through K2 customer service if frayed. The Conda™ chip ankle adjustment should be periodically checked for proper tension.
Shell & Outsole Care
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth after riding to remove salt and grime. The Vibram® V5 outsole can be cleaned with a stiff brush to remove packed snow — the Eco-Harshmellow™ midsoles will continue dampening vibration even with packed snow. Vibram® Ecostep construction is durable and sustainable.
Storage
Store the boots in a cool, dry place between sessions. Loosen all BOA® dials and release the Conda™ ankle chip tension between rides to extend the life of the closure system. Keep buckles open to let the liner air out.
Sizing & Fit
The Thraxis uses unisex sizing (select Men's if you're a man, Women's if you're a woman). For the best fit, size down 1cm from your measured foot length (Mondopoint). The stiffest flex means precise sizing matters — don't size up for comfort. Heat-moldable for custom fit; have a qualified boot fitter handle any custom molding.
