MIPS Brain Protection System
Mips is a brain protection system integrated into the helmet that can reduce rotational forces from angled impacts to the head. The low-friction layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head during the critical first 10mm of impact, redirecting energy and reducing rotational motion transferred to the brain.
Hybrid Construction
This unique construction features the best of both In-Mold and Hard-Shell builds. The primary In-Mold construction keeps it light, while the secondary Hard-Shell upper adds durability where it counts and resists dings from sticks, rails, and chairlift racks.
Active Matrix Venting
User-regulated Active Matrix vents let you dial in airflow on the climb or close vents for storm days — the system pulls air through the helmet and over the goggle area to fight fog and overheating.
360° K2Dialed™ Fit System
K2's signature 360° micro-adjustable fit dial wraps the head for even pressure and a glove-like fit. Twist once and you're locked in for the day.

Liner Cleaning
Remove the ear pads and neck roll and hand-wash the liner with mild soap and warm water. Air dry completely before reinstalling — trapped moisture causes odor and breaks down the EPS foam over time.
Shell Cleaning
Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, and aerosol sprays — they degrade the polycarbonate shell and can attack any integrated tech layer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. UV and trunk heat degrade the shell glue and EPS over a season or two. A helmet bag protects the finish.
Replacement
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even impacts that don't show visible damage can compress the EPS. Most manufacturers, K2 included, recommend replacement after 3-5 years of regular use even without a crash.

All component items (wheels, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, etc.) ship within 4-7 business days of purchase.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
