It started with an idea — K2's snowboard boot scientists approached Team Rider Sage Kotsenburg with a new concept on boot construction, and the switch flipped. A first-of-its-kind construction comes from a one-piece rubber lower with integrated mesh, making the Orton not only waterproof, but warm and dry all day long. The one-piece rubber lower is married with a dual-zone BOA® Fit System featuring H5 Coiler for a versatile boot that fits feet of all shapes and sizes. Sage spent over 100 days dialing in the design, with extensive testing by staff, athletes, backcountry guides, and film crew. Vibram® V5 rubber outsole handles the bootpack, Eco-Harshmellow™ injected midsole + Pro insole handle the impact and vibration, tri-density Intuition™ Pro Foam 3D Liner delivers the fit, and a rip-stop asymmetric lace-cover with a gaiter hook keeps all the snow out.

Waterproof Lower Maintenance
The one-piece rubber lower is inherently waterproof — rinse with water after each session to remove dirt and salt. Inspect the integrated mesh for tears (the waterproof integrity depends on the mesh remaining intact). Avoid prolonged direct sunlight storage that could degrade the rubber.
BOA® System Care
The BOA® H5 Coiler dials are designed for years of use — keep the dials free of snow and ice by tapping after each run. If the lace frays, replacement lace kits are available through K2 customer service.
Liner Care
Remove the tri-density Intuition™ Pro Foam 3D liner periodically to air out. The S'Cafe™ coffee mesh helps combat odor but daily airflow keeps the boot fresh. Heat-moldable for custom fit; have a qualified boot fitter handle any custom molding for best results.
Lace-Cover Care
The rip-stop asymmetric lace-cover with gaiter hook is durable but inspect for tears periodically. The gaiter hook should be secured every time you put the boots on — it keeps the cover in place during aggressive riding and ensures the waterproof seal.
Storage & Sizing
Store the boots in a cool, dry place between sessions. Loosen the BOA® dials between rides to extend the life of the closure system. The Orton uses unisex sizing (select Men's if you're a man, Women's if you're a woman) and starts at M7/W8 — designed for medium-to-larger feet.

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
