The twin shape, sidecut, and camber profile make the Sidecar feel precisely the same whether riding left or right foot forward — perfect for dialing in switch riding or just figuring out whether your grom is goofy or regular-footed. Inside, a single-species Aspen Core delivers smooth flex in a durable package, biaxially woven fiberglass adds forgiveness without sacrificing stability, and Catch-Free™ Tune removes the hooky feel common on other grom boards. The Extruded 2000 base is fast, tough, low maintenance, and easily repairable. Catch-Free™ Tune
K2's beginner-specific shaping tune — blunted contact points and softer tip and tail that eliminate the hooky feel often experienced on other grom snowboards. Easy turn initiation and effortless butters let groms focus on progression without fighting the board.
Twin Rocker Profile
Flat between the feet and rockered just outside the bindings — makes turning and spinning easier than ever. A forgiving profile for progressing young riders that supports switch riding and the natural learning curve of freestyle progression.
Aspen Core
A single-species Aspen wood core — sustainably harvested, smooth flex in a durable package. Gives the Sidecar consistent flex and durability that holds up to the inevitable bumps and dings of learning.
Biax Fiberglass
Biaxially woven fiberglass wraps the Aspen core for the forgiveness needed for progression without sacrificing stability. Pairs with the Catch-Free tune for the forgiving, learner-friendly feel groms need.
True Twin Shape

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Extruded 2000 base absorbs wax well — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. For kids' boards, more frequent waxing is a good idea since young riders tend to put boards through more diverse conditions.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Catch-Free Tune already softens the contact points for catch-free turns — only sharpen when truly needed, and detune the contact points more than an adult board to prevent edge catches during the learning phase.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport. For kids' boards, the bag also makes it easier for parents to manage gear.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. For young riders who are still learning edge control, expect more frequent base repairs — the Extruded 2000 base makes P-Tex repairs quick and easy.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern with centered stance geometry supports a true symmetrical mount for switch-friendly learning. Center the bindings around the mid-body for the classic true-twin feel that lets groms ride regular or switch without thinking about stance adjustments.

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
