Alchemist Men's Snowboard

The Alchemist stands tall as the flagship of the K2 Landscape Collection — a directional freeride snowboard built for the skilled rider who demands the highest level of performance, precision, and stability. This season, two major innovations take it further: the all-new S1 Pro Core and evolved Recess3D shaping, delivering a lighter, more responsive ride without compromising the damp, stable feel the Alchemist is known for.

S1 Pro Core
The most advanced core K2 has ever built — hand-assembled from 78 individual wood pieces. Ultralight paulownia in the tip and tail cuts swing weight for quick maneuverability; bamboo stringers run the length to dampen chatter; aspen reinforcements underfoot add strength and snappy energy transfer.
Recess3D Shaping
A precision CNC-milled 3D contour that removes material from the center of the tip and tail to drop weight, while the edges stay thicker for structure. The board stays planted and chatter-free at high speed and the mid-body stiffens for more control without bulk.
Spectral Braid™
A variable-angle fiber weave that tunes the flex pattern for strong edge hold and smooth, predictable turn initiation across the entire length of the board.
SpaceGlass™ Tip
Lightweight fiberglass inserts in the nose reduce overall weight, boost edge pressure, and dampen vibration for a more stable ride in unpredictable terrain.
Directional Camber Profile
Camber underfoot for power, pop, and edge hold with a subtle rocker in the nose to keep the board loose in soft snow and forgiving on landings.
Tapered Directional Shape
A wider nose than tail set back 0.75" for natural float in powder and predictable turn release when the snow gets deep.
Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base
A high-density sintered base with wax infused into the material for fast, durable glide in any snow condition. Stone finish on the factory base absorbs wax quickly.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. A regular wax schedule keeps the sintered base fast and prevents drying — hot wax preferred, rub-on wax works for quick top-ups in the field.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. Detune the contact points slightly for a less catchy feel on hardpack.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry it before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage — small dings can be filled with base repair candles, larger damage should go to a qualified tech.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern gives flexibility for stance width and setback. Mark center inserts for a centered stance or shift toward the tail inserts to lean into the 0.75" setback for more directional float.
