Cleaning

Remove loose dirt, mud, and scree with a stiff bristle brush after each outing. Wipe the recycled AirMesh upper and KPU 3D Grid™ exoskeleton with lukewarm water and mild soap; rinse and towel dry.

Drying

Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or radiators. Remove the Ortholite® Hybrid insole and loosen all laces to allow airflow through the recycled AirMesh lining.

Waterproofing

The Akyra II does not have a waterproof membrane — treat the upper with a spray-on DWR designed for mesh hiking shoes if you need additional weather resistance.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Loosen all laces and lightly stuff with paper to hold shape and absorb residual moisture.
