Cleaning
Remove loose dirt and trail debris with a soft brush. Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not machine wash — the agitation and heat degrade the DREAM midsole foam, adhesives, and outsole lugs.
Drying
Remove insoles and loosen laces. Stuff with crumpled newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and hold shape. Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. Never place near a radiator, fireplace, or in a dryer — heat destroys the foam midsole and adhesive bonds.
After Muddy Runs
Don't leave wet muddy shoes in a gear bag. Pull out the insoles, stuff with paper, knock off loose mud, and let them air out as soon as you get home to prevent odor and bacterial growth.
Insoles
Remove insoles to dry separately after every run. Replace insoles every 300–500 miles or when they lose shape and cushioning — this dramatically extends the life of the shoes.
Outsole Care
Periodically clear embedded rocks and debris from the 4mm lugs with a stiff brush or toothpick. Lugs packed with debris lose traction and the added weight throws off your gait.
Lace Care
Replace laces when they fray or fail to hold a knot. Spare laces are cheap insurance — keep a pair in your running bag for unexpected lace failures mid-run.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid long-term compression in a pile of shoes or gear — keeps the DREAM midsole foam fresh for the next run.
Mileage Expectation
Trail running shoes typically last 300–500 miles depending on terrain, gait, and care. Signs it's time to replace: midsole feels flat/less responsive, outsole lugs worn smooth, persistent aches in feet/knees after runs that weren't there with newer shoes.
