The CAPiTA Glow Up is the snowboard for the next generation of girls—the young and hungry shredders ready to take their resort and park riding to elevated levels. Designed with Jess Kimura's input for the next generation of female riders, the Glow Up features a true twin shape (0 taper), SPECIAL BLEND™ fiberglass, youth-specific Poplar core with new wood core profiling, and XXX[TRUDED] extruded base. With 4 sizes from 132cm to 141cm covering US Women boot sizing (5-10), the Glow Up is the bigger sibling of the Glow Up Mini—designed for older girls transitioning from kids' to women's sizing.

Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability. Newly reengineered to taper between the insert packs for a more forgiving flex. The Glow Up's core is specifically designed for the developing rider — the tapered between inserts provides a softer tip and tail for pressability and easier turn initiation while maintaining strength through the bindings for edge hold and stability.
XXX[TRUDED] Extruded Base
If there's one thing we know about kids and groms, it's that they can be hard on their gear and they're never going to wax their snowboard. The XXX[TRUDED] base material is a high density extruded base material that is durable and low maintenance. After Use
Wipe down the base with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The Glow Up's compact size makes it easy to store and transport. The true twin shape means both ends see equal wear — rotate the board or flip it periodically to distribute wear evenly as the young rider progresses.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The XXX[TRUDED] extruded base is specifically designed for kids who don't wax — it's durable and low maintenance. The high density extruded construction is more damage-resistant than sintered bases, perfect for the abuse of learning to ride. The soft-medium flex means less pressure on edges, so less frequent sharpening is needed compared to adult boards.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The Glow Up's compact size (132-141cm) makes it easy to store anywhere. The youth-specific Poplar core is stable but can be more sensitive to prolonged high temperatures than heavier boards — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage.
Binding Compatibility
The Glow Up uses the standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major kids' and women's binding brands. The soft-medium flex pairs well with soft to medium-flex women's bindings (like the Union Contact, Burton Citizen, or NOW Vetta).
