Directional Shape (Progressive 7-10mm Taper)
The Navigator WMN features a directional shape with progressive 7-10mm tapered tail (depending on size — bigger sizes have more taper for more powder float). The tapered tail sinks deep in soft snow for natural float, while the wide-frame rockered nose planes on top of the snow and absorbs landings. The 3-stage multi-radius sidecut (7.1/6.0/7.1 to 7.5/6.4/7.5) provides progressive turn shapes — tighter in the center for quick edge-to-edge, wider at the contact points for stability at speed. With an excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, TECHNORA™ is an aramid fiber that functions as a shock absorber and energy source when integrated into a snowboard construction layup. CAPiTA has interwoven TECHNORA™ with an extremely lightweight and all-natural Flax fiber to invigorate every ride with response and dampening — the same premium reinforcement used in the men's Navigator, Navigator Split, Kazu Kokubo Pro, The Matriarch, and the Birds of a Feather.

After Use
Wipe down the base with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The Navigator WMN's pure wood veneer topsheet is durable but the natural wood material should be kept dry to prevent moisture damage — store the board in a cool, dry place with bindings loose or removed. The directional shape means the tail takes more wear than the nose — rotate or flip the board periodically if you want to distribute wear evenly.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The Custom Sintec base is CAPiTA's premium sintered material — holds wax exceptionally well and is built for high-speed charging. Wax regularly — every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the base looks dry or white. The directional shape puts more pressure on the tail edge than the nose — sharpen the tail edge more frequently to maintain the directional performance. The TECHNORA + Flax reinforcement is more environmentally friendly than traditional carbon but requires the same care.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The Premium Lightweight Core and TECHNORA + Flax are stable but the natural wood veneer topsheet and natural flax components can be more sensitive to prolonged high temperatures than standard synthetic materials — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. The directional shape and progressive taper add durability for transport and storage.
Binding Compatibility
The Navigator WMN uses the standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major women's binding brands. The directional shape with 7-10mm progressive taper means bindings should be mounted toward the tail (1-3cm back from center, depending on size) for proper directional performance and powder float. The medium-stiff flex and directional shape pair well with medium-stiff to stiff women's all-mountain/freeride bindings (like the Union Juliet, Burton Lexa, or NOW Vetta). Built for the woman who wants a traditional-width directional powder board for resort powder days without the extra-wide stance of the Spring Break powder series.
