The CAPiTA Artemis is the any-day, multi-terrain vehicle for women seeking one snowboard to maximize all-mountain days. Directional Shape (4mm Taper)
The Artemis features a directional shape with a consistent 4mm tapered tail on all sizes — the directional design provides natural float in powder while maintaining the responsive edge hold needed for groomer carving. The tapered tail sinks deep in soft snow for that surfy, powder-specific feel, while the wider nose planes on top of the snow and absorbs landings. The consistent 4mm taper across all 5 sizes ensures predictable directional performance regardless of which size you ride.
Premium Lightweight Core
An energetic premium core that is ultralight and strong with excellent dampening properties. The Artemis's core is built for the women's-specific demands of all-mountain riding — light enough for park laps and side hits, strong enough for groomer charging and powder mornings. The dampening properties smooth out chatter at high speeds and absorb landings in variable backcountry conditions. The lightweight construction is especially valuable for smaller riders who benefit from reduced swing weight.
Holysheet™ Fiberglass
HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you get a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. The high-end fiberglass pairing ensures the Artemis can handle aggressive all-mountain charging while keeping the responsive feel the directional shape is known for.
TECHNORA™ + Flax Fiber Reinforcement
With an excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, TECHNORA™ is an aramid fiber that functions as a shock absorber and energy source when integrated into a snowboard construction layup. CAPiTA has interwoven TECHNORA™ with an extremely lightweight and all-natural Flax fiber to invigorate every ride with response and dampening — the same premium reinforcement used in the men's Navigator Split, Kazu Kokubo Pro, The Matriarch, and The Navigator.
PLT Topsheet Technology™
PLT Topsheet Technology™ is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without using any solvents or toxic lacquers in finishing. The lightweight topsheet is critical for the Artemis's all-mountain versatility — every gram matters when you're riding all day in variable conditions.
HYPERDRIVE Base
Custom formulated and exclusive to The Mothership, CAPiTA's engineers have worked tirelessly with the world's leading polyethylene running base supplier to create HYPERDRIVE. With exceptional anti-friction properties due to high molecular mass and specialized processing aids, this sintered material has exceptional speed and durability. CAPiTA's premium race-quality sintered base material — the same as the men's premium Capita boards, built for high-speed charging in all snow conditions.

After Use
Wipe down the base with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The PLT topsheet finish is durable and easy to clean — just a quick wipe with a dry cloth after each session. The directional shape means the tail takes more wear than the nose — rotate or flip the board periodically if you want to distribute wear evenly.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The HYPERDRIVE base is CAPiTA's premium sintered material — holds wax exceptionally well and is built for high-speed charging. Wax regularly — every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the base looks dry or white. The directional shape puts more pressure on the tail edge than the nose — sharpen the tail edge more frequently to maintain the directional performance. The TECHNORA + Flax reinforcement is more environmentally friendly than traditional carbon but requires the same care.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The Premium Lightweight Core and TECHNORA + Flax are stable but the natural flax components can be more sensitive to prolonged high temperatures than standard synthetic materials — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. The directional shape and 4mm taper add durability for transport and storage.
Binding Compatibility
The Artemis uses the standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major women's binding brands. The directional shape with 4mm taper means bindings should be mounted toward the tail (1-2cm back from center) for proper directional performance and powder float. The medium flex and directional shape pair well with medium-flex women's all-mountain bindings (like the Union Juliet, Burton Citizen, or NOW Vetta). Built for the woman who wants one versatile board for all-mountain days.
