Waxing
Wax every 3-5 riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The HyperDrive ADV XT sintered base absorbs wax quickly — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on wax for field top-ups. Custom-formulated base holds wax longer than standard sintered bases.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Matriarch's directional shape with 4.0 mm taper — detune the tip contact point slightly for a less catchy feel on hardpack while preserving tail-side power transfer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or garage — heat can delaminate the topsheet and weaken the HyperDrive ADV XT base.
Binding Mounting
The 2×4 stainless steel insert pattern lets you set stance width and angles anywhere in the range. Mount bindings with the standard 4×4 pattern using 4× M6 screws per binding. The Matriarch is directional with 0.8" setback — set bindings to the Ref. Stance listed for each size and adjust ±1 cm based on your stance-width preference and how engaged you want the setback.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
