Alpine V1 Camber Profile
The ALPINE V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider's performance in deep snow. The camber runs longer in the tail — providing extra power and drive for charging — while the reverse cambered nose floats through pow and absorbs landings.
Mega-Premium Poplar Core
Utilizing an advanced electronic sorting system allows CAPiTA to select mega-premium, reforestation certified, Poplar graded by weight and grain consistency. Comparable to Paulownia in strength to weight ratio, this core retains the poppiness of Poplar, and then achieves a signature feel by adding bondo-constructed Birch Stringers. The result is a lightweight, snappy, and consistent core that delivers performance without the weight penalty.
Carbon Fiber Additives

MEGADRIVE™ Base
Striving to kit out the MEGA line-up with the most advanced and premium components, the all new MEGADRIVE™ base is as fast as science can make it. This is a pure race base composed of UHMW polyethylene modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives for lightspeed gliding in a wide range of snow conditions and temperatures. The fastest and most premium base in the CAPiTA line.
Moonshot Omni-Tune™ Base Structure
The MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ is an aftermarket high-performance race-base structure that wicks water from your base at a 45-degree angle, making these boards fast as f*#k to the lift line or to the finish line. Race-tuned base structure for maximum speed and water displacement in all snow conditions.
Directional Multi-Radius Sidecut
Directional shape with tapered nose and tail (11mm taper on most sizes) for powder float and quick turn initiation. The multi-radius sidecut (e.g., 8.2/7.8/7.6) provides smooth, consistent turns across the entire contact length with progressive turn shapes — tighter in the tip for quick initiation, wider between the feet for stability at speed. Built for the advanced freerider who charges everything.

After Use
Wipe down the bases with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The MEGADRIVE™ base is a race-quality sintered material that holds wax exceptionally well but still needs regular maintenance. Store the board in a cool, dry place with bindings loose or removed.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The MEGADRIVE™ base is CAPiTA's fastest and most premium base material. Wax regularly — every 3-5 days of riding, or whenever the bases look dry or white. The Moonshot Omni-Tune™ base structure is a race-tuned pattern that channels water away from the base — keep it clean and waxed for maximum speed. The multi-radius sidecut and Alpine V1 camber put serious forces on the edges — sharpen with a proper edge file or take to a shop at the first sign of dulling.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The mega-premium Poplar core with Birch stringers is light but can be sensitive to prolonged high temperatures — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. The carbon additives are stable but the bondo-constructed stringers can be affected by extreme heat over time.
Binding Compatibility
The Mega Death is a directional board with the inserts set back slightly from center for the tapered shape. Standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major binding brands. The stiff flex and Alpine V1 camber are designed to work with stiff all-mountain/freeride bindings (like the Union Atlas, Burton Cartel X, or NOW Drive). The directional shape means bindings should be mounted toward the tail for proper powder float and tail control.

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Returns & Exchanges:
