Pure Wood Veneer Topsheet
Specially treated pure wood veneer topsheet with a unique tactile feel that is 220gm lighter than the standard process. The lightweight wood construction reduces swing weight and adds a natural flex pattern, while the special treatment gives it a distinctive look and feel that stands out from standard plastic topsheets.
Holysheet™ Fiberglass
HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you get a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Pairs with CarbonFlax for a snappy, damp ride.
Ultra Lightweight Core + Bamboo Power Rods™
Ultra lightweight core enhanced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for maximum power and response. The bamboo rods run the length of the core to add pop, snap, and strength without the weight penalty of a denser core — ideal for Kazu's blend of freestyle power and freeride float.

CARBONFLAX™ is a next-generation natural flax fiber woven with carbon strands that is featured in CAPiTA's high-end snowboard constructions. Directional 0.8" Setback + Radial Taper
Directional shape with 0.8 inch setback (toward the tail) for powder float and a slightly tapered tail. The Radial Taper sidecut provides smooth, consistent turns across the contact length with a wider nose that floats better in deep snow. Directional 6.5 flex — medium-stiff, built for the all-mountain/freeride rider who wants power and precision.

After Use
Wipe down the bases with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The wood veneer topsheet is a natural material — avoid prolonged moisture contact and store the board in a cool, dry place. Use a board bag for transport to prevent scratches and protect the wood topsheet from impact damage.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The Hyperdrive™ sintered base is CAPiTA's fastest and most durable base material. Wax regularly — every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the bases look dry or white. The Moonshot Omni-Tune™ base structure is a race-tuned pattern that channels water away from the base — keep it clean and waxed for maximum speed. Sharpen edges with a proper edge file or take to a shop at the first sign of dulling.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The ultra lightweight core with Bamboo Power Rods is light but can be sensitive to prolonged high temperatures — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. The wood veneer topsheet will patina naturally over time — embrace the wear as part of the board's character.
Binding Compatibility
The Kazu Kokubo Pro is a directional board with inserts set back slightly from center for the 0.8" setback stance. Standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major binding brands. The Directional 6.5 flex pairs well with medium-stiff to stiff all-mountain/freeride bindings (like the Union Atlas, Burton Cartel X, or NOW Drive). The directional shape means the bindings should be mounted toward the tail for proper powder float.
