Pared down with only the technical components you need in an array of standard and wide sizes — Dark Horse leverages its dynamic design to deliver maximum power and performance. The Dark Horse maximizes the power potential of a lightweight and energetic board in a budget friendly construction. It delivers the pop and power demanded by progressive freestyle riders through its tried and trusted combination of Dual Core™ and Special Blend Fiberglass further enhanced with 2 x 30 mm Carbon Aramid Boosters.

PARK V1 Camber
The PARK V1 camber configuration zeros out a traditional camber approach 4 cm before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections provide a more controlled ride while retaining the response and power of a cambered board — ideal for park laps, side hits, and freestyle features where you want camber pop without the catchy feel.
Dual Core™
Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability. The Dual Core blend delivers the energetic, responsive feel that park and freestyle riders want — lightweight enough for presses and flatground tricks, with enough pop and snap for big jumps and side hits.
Holysheet™ Tri/Bi Fiberglass + Magic Bean™ Resin
HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you get a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Magic Bean™ resin is CAPiTA's standard resin system with high strength and low environmental impact.

Known for rigidity, high-tensile strength, low weight, high-temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, Carbon Fiber is one of the most popular materials in high-performance applications. CAPiTA integrates Carbon Aramid Boosters to increase power and response while keeping the board ultralight — added pop without the weight penalty.
Superdrive™ Base
The SUPERDRIVE™ base material lives in the Sintruded category of boards that deliver benefits of both sintered and extruded bases. Higher pressure and temperature during manufacturing increase the surface hardness to levels near most sintered bases — expanded durability and surface strength for jibbing and ripping around the mountain, while retaining the low-maintenance and carefree lifespan of an extruded base.
True Twin + Radial Sidecut
True Twin shape is symmetrical for switch riding and freestyle maneuvers. Radial sidecut is a single radius design that provides smooth, consistent turns across the entire contact length — predictable, easy-to-ride feel that's perfect for park progression and freestyle.

After Use
Wipe down the bases with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. Pay special attention to the topsheet — despite the screen print finish, prolonged moisture contact can still cause damage. Store the board in a cool, dry place with bindings loose or removed.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The Superdrive™ sintruded base is low-maintenance compared to sintered bases but still benefits from regular waxing. Wax every 5-7 days of riding, or whenever the bases look dry or white. The base holds wax well and the sintruded construction is more resistant to damage from rails, rocks, and park features than standard extruded bases.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The Dual Core wood core can be sensitive to prolonged high temperatures — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. Use a board sock or bag for transport to prevent scratches and UV damage to the topsheet print.
Binding Compatibility
The Dark Horse is a True Twin with the inserts centered on the board — standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major binding brands. The PARK V1 camber profile is designed to work with park/freestyle bindings. The 6/10 flex pairs well with medium-stiff freestyle bindings (like the Union Contact Pro or Burton Cartel).
