Built for cold-weather pursuits, these mitts combine premium insulation and flexible comfort to help maintain warmth during winter hikes, snow travel, and everyday adventures in frigid conditions. A bluesign® approved 87% nylon and 13% spandex 20D ripstop stretch woven shell provides durability and flexibility, while 266g PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Aerogel Cross Core™ technology delivers exceptional warmth without excessive bulk. Inside, a stretch woven lining with a wicking finish on the back of the hand and a soft tricot palm help manage moisture and enhance comfort throughout the day. Every material in the Stowe Aerogel Mitt is selected to maximize warmth, dexterity, and protection from the cold, allowing for longer days outside when winter conditions are at their coldest.

PrimaLoft® Gold with Aerogel Cross Core™

A 266g PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation is enhanced with Aerogel Cross Core™ technology—a NASA-derived silica aerogel composite that traps air at the molecular level for exceptional warmth without the weight or bulk of heavier fills. The result is midweight warmth that holds up to deep cold and damp conditions.

Stretch-Woven Shell

A bluesign® approved 87% nylon / 13% spandex 20D ripstop stretch-woven shell provides durable, flexible protection that moves with the hand on pole grips, dog leashes, and thermos handles, while the DWR treatment sheds light snow and rain.

Wicking Stretch Lining

A 100% polyester stretch-woven lining with a wicking finish on the back of the hand pulls moisture off the skin during high-output activity or warm-up periods, keeping hands drier and warmer for longer in changing conditions.

Tricot Palm Lining

A soft 100% polyester tricot palm lining adds next-to-skin comfort against the palm, absorbs a small amount of moisture, and provides a soft, warm feel for sensitive skin on long cold-weather outings.

Touchscreen Compatible

Index finger and thumb materials work with capacitive touchscreens, so you can check trail maps, adjust music, or shoot photos without exposing your hands to the cold.

Silicone Print Grip

A silicone print across the palm delivers confident grip on trekking poles, leashes, thermos handles, and steering wheels, even in wet or icy conditions.

Stretch Cuff

A stretch knit cuff seals in warmth at the wrist and layers cleanly under a jacket sleeve without the bulk of hook-and-loop or buckle closures.

Mitt-Snap Connection

Snaps at the cuff connect the mitts together when not in use, so you can clip them to a pack or stuff them in a jacket pocket without losing one to the void.

Pull-on Tab

A small pull-on tab at the cuff makes the mitts easy to get on with cold, stiff fingers, without the bulk of a hanging loop that catches on gear or a pack.

Cleaning

Hand wash cold with a mild technical-gear or liquid detergent. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag is also acceptable. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, which can degrade the Aerogel Cross Core™ insulation performance, the wicking lining finish, and the stretch fabric over time.

Drying

Tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage the spandex content, warp the stretch panels, and reduce the elastic recovery of the shell and cuff.

Storage

Allow the mitts to dry fully before storing. Keep flat or snapped together in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid compression under heavy gear, which can damage the Aerogel Cross Core™ insulation and reduce thermal performance over time.

DWR Refresh

When the outer shell no longer sheds light snow or rain, reproof with a spray-on DWR treatment compatible with stretch-woven nylon to restore water resistance without compromising the breathability or the 4-way stretch.

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
