Our classic Borealis Pack is now available in a trail-specific version. Originally designed to be the ultimate daypack, the new Borealis Trail is technical enough for day hikes but still practical enough for everyday use. With a comfortable FlexVent™ suspension system, our iconic bungee cord system and a laptop sleeve, you can easily transition from campus to campground — same recognizable silhouette, more trail-ready features built in.

FlexVent™ Suspension System
Certified by the American Chiropractic Association — articulated shoulder straps, a rounded back panel, comfortable stitch lines, and soft-touch chemise fabric combine for all-day comfort that keeps the load off the small of the back.
Iconic Bungee Compression System
External bungee-compression straps with clips on the front, plus the iconic bungee cord panel — load it down with a layer, cinch it tight for a small haul, or stash a wet shell outside the main compartment.
16" Laptop or Hydration Sleeve
Zippered main compartment has a dedicated sleeve that fits either a 16" laptop or a hydration bladder — switch from campus to trail in the morning without repacking, sleeve protects both equally well.
Front Bungee System with Webbing Loops
Front bungee system with multiple webbing-loop options — clip a helmet, an ice axe, a rolled jacket, or a pair of trekking poles. The webbing ladder lets you position gear exactly where you want it.
Tool-Carry Loops
Tool-carry loops on the outside let you lash trekking poles, an ice axe, or other trail tools without opening the pack — quick-grab access when the trail steepens or the weather turns.
Padded, Vented Shoulder Straps
Padded shoulder straps with mesh ventilation for hot trail days and warm commutes — a small drop-in pocket on the right strap and a secure-zip phone pocket on the left keep small items within reach without taking the pack off.
Top-Lid Secure-Zip Pocket
Secure-zip pocket on the top lid — quick access for sunglasses, snacks, the keys, or a trail map without digging through the main compartment.
Two Mesh Water Bottle Pockets
Two external mesh water bottle pockets — sized for full-size 32 oz bottles, deep enough to keep them from falling out on scrambles, and stretchy enough to stash a damp shell when the sun comes out.
Adjustable Waist & Sternum Straps
Adjustable waist belt and sternum strap with whistle buckle — cinch the load close to your back on steep descents and keep it from swaying side-to-side on technical trail. The whistle buckle is a real whistle, not a decoration.
Coated, Abrasion-Resistant Boot
Coated, abrasion-resistant recycled nylon boot fabric on the bottom and front — stands up to being set down on wet rocks, granite slabs, gravel parking lots, and airport floors without soaking through or scuffing.
Reflective Details
Reflective details on the front, sides, and shoulder straps for low-light visibility — keep you seen on early-morning trailheads, dusk commutes, and bike rides home after sunset.

210D nylon ripstop with PU coating and non-PFC DWR finish
Boot
420D recycled nylon with PU coating and non-PFC DWR finish
Lining
200D recycled polyester
Spot Clean
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with a soft brush. Do not machine wash — the PU coating, DWR finish, and FlexVent™ back panel can all be damaged by agitation.
Air Dry
Air dry completely in a well-ventilated area with the main compartment unzipped. Do not put in the dryer. Do not iron. High heat delaminates the PU coating and degrades the DWR finish.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep buckles and straps unbuckled to avoid stress on the webbing and stitching. Hang it on a hook or stand it upright on the reinforced boot.
Zipper Care
Lubricate zippers periodically with a silicone-based lubricant. Avoid getting sand or debris in the teeth. If a zipper sticks, work it open and closed gently rather than forcing it.
Material Notes
Do not dry clean, bleach, or use solvents. Do not expose to open flame. The DWR finish will wear over time — re-treat with a spray-on DWR every 6-12 months for continued water resistance.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Riding Gear & Apparel:

Riding gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 2-5 business days.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
