Made with bluesign® approved Pertex® Shield NetPlus® fabric from 100% recycled nylon, this gaiter offers highly breathable, durable weatherproof performance without the bulk. The updated design features a reinforced Hypalon instep strap for secure attachment, a boot lace hook for added stability, and a double-stitched hook-and-loop closure for lasting durability. An offset left/right design simplifies setup, while a top drawcord cinch ensures a snug, stay-put fit through every climb, scramble, and stride.

2.5L Pertex® Shield NetPlus®

A bluesign® approved waterproof laminate made with 100% recycled nylon 30D ripstop delivers highly breathable, ultralight weather protection that shrugs off mud, snow, sleet, and trail debris without weighing you down.

Durable Hypalon Instep Strap

A reinforced Hypalon strap under the boot provides bombproof abrasion resistance against rocks, crampons, and trail edges, keeping the gaiter anchored through thousands of vertical feet.

Boot Lace Hook

A low-profile hook secures under the boot lace to lock the front of the gaiter in place, preventing ride-up and gaps during steep climbs and side-hilling.

Double-Stitched Hook-and-Loop Closure

A reinforced hook-and-loop front closure runs the full height of the gaiter for easy on/off and long-term durability through repeated use in abrasive terrain.

Offset Left/Right Design

The front closure is offset so the left and right gaiters are mirror images, making it instantly clear which is which when you're suiting up at the trailhead in the dark or in a storm.

Drawcord Cinch at Top Hem

A simple drawcord at the top hem lets you dial in a snug, stay-put seal around the calf to keep out snow, scree, and trail debris without bunching or slippage.

Cleaning

Brush off loose dirt and mud once dry. Hand wash in cold water with a mild technical-gear detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or standard laundry soap, as these can degrade the Pertex® Shield laminate and DWR finish.

Drying

Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes to reactivate the durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the outer shell. Hang to air dry completely if a dryer is not available.

Storage

Allow gaiters to dry fully before storing. Keep loosely folded or rolled in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid compression under heavy gear for extended periods, which can damage the laminate and reduce waterproof performance.

Waterproofing Refresh

When water no longer beads on the outer fabric, reproof the shell with a spray-on DWR treatment compatible with Pertex® Shield to restore water-shedding performance.
